| FlyingLovegood123 chapter 1 . 11/14/2013
Hah, Dean isn't dead, and he is . . . so /Dean/! Thank you!
| jojospn chapter 1 . 6/2/2013
I loved this! Went from crying to smiling :) Excellent!
| sapphireswimming chapter 1 . 5/28/2013
This was great. I mean, obviously terrible when they both thought Dean was dead and Sam was trying and failing to reconcile himself to the fact. But their having time to walk through it, try to come to terms with everything isn't something they have the luxury they're allowed in the show. It was great to see how it went down here.
| Curious6 chapter 1 . 5/5/2013
This makes me SO SAD because WHAT IS DEAN SUPPOSED TO DO but it's just Sam asking his older brother to fix things like usual.
"No one to one to save him."
"Not because it was scary or the end or painful. But because he knew what he was leaving his little brother to live with."
Dude, how much more selfless can Dean get?
Loved this story.
| TraSan chapter 1 . 3/31/2013
I'm never sure which of the brothers my heart aches for more in this story. It ends on a happy note with some great brother moments so it's totally worth it.
| Apocalyxtic98 chapter 1 . 5/16/2012
Awesome story. I always loved Dean as a spirit (2.01), and this captured that again.
| tvj12 chapter 1 . 5/4/2012
This was a great story. I liked the case you gave them, and all the details you threw into the story. I could totally picture this as an actual episode. -tvj12
| Barranca chapter 1 . 8/14/2011
John slinking away when Sam got shot saving him was cold, but realising he didn't see or even think about his sons at the time because the hunt was so important to him made me sad. I'm thankful for the happy ending though!
| Disneymagic chapter 1 . 7/27/2011
There aren't many stories (at least that I have seen) that capture Dean's funny/goofy side and since he definitely has a sense of humor, I enjoy seeing in represented when possible. I found Dean's 'corn' jokes very appropriate for the situation, something Dean would do especially if he thought it would get a rise out of his brother.
Sam has a little bit of that woe-is-me factor going on here that we seem to see a lot in canon, but he does persevere through an awful lot to get to Dean so I give him lots of praise for that.
Both of them are so beat up at the end and yet still trying to take care of each other. I think that would have to be my favorite part.
| CeCe Away chapter 1 . 7/10/2011
Enjoyed this one as well. Sam being the only one who could see Dean seemed right.
| JazzyIrish chapter 1 . 7/9/2011
Great story as always! Corn Pops - haven't thought of them in eons. ;) Liked "OBE Dean", knowing it was too late for him; but trying to help Sam as he always had. I kept thinking this was a dream, but liked how it played out in your version better. I would have loved to hear those hunting stories that Dean told Sam on his drive back. ;)
Thanks for sharing this with us. Your stories are always a great read. Until next time...

Wow! This was tearful but very good. Glad that they did manage to find Dean's body in time before he really did die. So sad that John couldn't see, hear, or even sense that Dean was there or even Sam for that matter simply because it was his sons.
| Visionairy chapter 1 . 6/27/2011
Sorry I took so long to review this, the story was absolutely amazing! I actually had a text to voice program convert it to an mp3 so I can listen to stories while I walk a 2 or 3 miles on my lunch hour. Well, this time I didn't even realize how far I'd walked, it was so good. I made my best time ever. :).
Throughout the story, I kept trying to figure out how/why this was happening to Sam. Assuming, of course, that you weren't permanently offing Dean. lol But everytime I came up with a theory, the next section of the story changed it. I loved the depth and layers throughout. Excellent story-tellling!
My favorite line and concept was, "There were…benefits to Dean being incorporeal, Sam soon realized. Like the fact that his brother made no sound going through the woods. Or that he could scout ahead without Sam being worried about his getting shot, too. The thought made him laugh unsteadily under his breath: nice. He couldn't worry about Dean anymore because Dean was...was—
"Sam." It was said low, because Dean's voice was still real."
I liked the idea that Sam was glad that Dean couldn't get hurt, and then realizing why. Sigh.
Great, great story! Can't wait to read your next.
| Hunnique chapter 1 . 6/26/2011
I bit my nail the whole time I was reading, mezmerized with things like : He felt about four again, refusing his big brother's comfort that it was okay that they didn't have a mommy. But my favorite part? one word : Cornball. Tu es géniale!

Wonderful story but you never disappoint. Good read.
