Well, you definitely succeeded at making me cry. It's just...everything is so beautiful, especially the ending and the way you made Gai's future one without pain and guilt. In a way i'm sad because i can't read anymore this masterpiece, but i'm too satisfied with every single chapter, so i'll overlook this once haha :)))). Awesome job and i hope you'll write more stories with Gai as a protagonist.

Omg, i'm so in love with this story and i'm barely at half of it. Which is pretty great because i can enjoy much more of this amazing work. I love Hikari's sarcasm, i laugh so hard at every little 'rude' joke that she makes that i think i scared my parents haha, and the fact that it's a Gai/OC story makes everything better. I love Gai and i think that he really deserves so much more and it's pretty sad that there are only a handful of fanfics with him in a romantic prospect. Anyway, great job so far!

That was beautiful. I love this story. The characterizations and the concept itself are just so well done. I laughed, I cried, I cheered them on. Thank you for writing such moving story. There was no massive fight scene, no glorious battle. But that's the kind of story that is life. Again, thank you.

OMG, that was the BEST Maito Gai fanfic I have ever written. Your original characters weren't annoying or unrealistic and your portrayal of canon characters was spot on. I love this fanfic *a big thumbs up* :)

I'm glad you chose to write about the civilians of Konoha and their importance to the village, besides the far more adventurous ninjas. It's a nice change.
I really like Hikari. Gai is difficult to portray : managing the balance between goofy and serious is not easy. And creating a character complementing him, it must be difficult too. IMO you did very, very well. I saw them falling in love, her toning down his more "sparkling moments", and him making her life more fun.
I like that you didn't shy away from the difficulties of living with someone who is basically risking his life everytime he leaves the house, and suffering from PTSD.
The last chapter is heartbreaking. I was crying (yes, I'm quite emotional while reading) then smiling idiotically. You took me by surprise when I discovered that their baby was a girl. I never thought of it. For me they were obviously supposed to have a boy. But you were so right with the idea of a baby girl. It makes you wonder about her life with such an excentric fatehr, and about her fashion style when she'll be a older. :-)

I absolutely love this story. I have read it a couple of times before but I didn't review and I realize that not showing my appreciation except for a couple of clicks (I so added the story to favs immediately after reading only a few chapters) was kind of mean and I apologize now by writing a review a little later than I should have. What I love the most about this work of art is that Hikari is a civilian with some flaws just like a real person and not a perfect ninja who can do anything. Just this fact alone makes the story special and easy to live into, which is to be honest mostly why I read fanfiction at all. Another thing I love about the story is the fluff and the lightheartedness mixed with a perfect amount of real life struggles. It truly is one of the best and most wellbalanced fanfictions that I have ever read.
