This is more original than some stories, yet it does drag out things a bit. Gohan's continuous lying is apt to have repercussions... The setup was interesting though. I'd perhaps recommend condensing things a bit so the scope of Gohan's lies are shrunk a little...

Wow. This story is AWESOME so far. I love everything about it lol. Character development is great, pace is awesome, and length is great. I dont think its gunna happen but i wish Gohan would take Videl flying for her present. Keep up the good work :) Update soon!

I was excited for the possibilities of this story. The summary you gave did not give many hints, but it was enough of a tease to get me hooked.

Then I started reading this though and realized it was a cliche romance novel. Every genre deserves to be explored, but please add something to your summary that lets readers know exactly what they are getting into. Many people enjoy 'chickflics' (for lack of a better word). It was not what I expected from the summary though.

A well written chapter. I really enjoy the depth and the angst you're adding. It makes it more intense and exciting to read. I would be careful, though, you don't want it to get too dark. With a story such as this, you need to add an air of light. Something to break it up a little bit. The story itself is progressing nicely, I look forward to more.
