|Reviews for A Tribute To Vladimir Nobokov|
| SheBroughtWordstoLife chapter 1 . 3/20/2015
I love this tribute! The words flow so nicely, almost like music...it fits very well with the original novel. Beautiful story!

I feel it was far too choked with the purple prose that it suffocated under your hand. Pull it back a little and it'll be perfect.
| PeachyPersimmon chapter 1 . 1/10/2014
You've captured Dolly perfectly
| Guest chapter 1 . 11/12/2013
| Albeeno chapter 1 . 8/4/2012
I love how you captured his style, the rhythm of his speech, his vocabulary, phrasings and descriptions are excellently executed! However, the description of the girl was more list-like than Nabakov usually did, his had a natural flow of thought rather than a flow of the eye. Many don't realise that your eyes flit from one defining feature to the next, usually what we find most interesting or attractive. Apart from this one bit of mechanics, it's truly perfect. I love it!
| lonelightlilith chapter 1 . 6/18/2012
This is a near-perfect emulation of Nabokov's fluid, musical style. I am so impressed. This is my favourite book... you've written a brilliant tribute.
| Fibob chapter 1 . 3/5/2012
Wow. This was really good.
You're a really talented writer!
| anastasis chapter 1 . 12/23/2011
Oh, yes! I guess it takes a real writer to imitate another in such a perfect way. While reading, I saw and heard the same Humbert, that spoke from pages of the book - and I'm grateful for that, for I kind of missed the guy :)
Thanks for posting. It would be nice if you wrote another piece one day.
PS. Sorry for my English! Not my native language, so I make mistakes.
