![]() ![]() ![]() This was a fantastic read. One of the best I've come across recently. It kept me engaged and I barely could put it down until I finished. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting. But too much Japanese bruh. Way too much. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This great fun. I can't believe I'm just discovered this. It is worth reading again. I enjoyed the humor and the character building for Yusuke. The world building was very good. I fell into the "culture" with enthusiasm. |
![]() ![]() I absolutely love this story. This is the third time I've read it over the years and I've enjoyed it every single time. It's refreshing to have a different view of Harry. Happy New Year stay safe be healthy |
![]() ![]() ![]() Now having finished this one, I have to say that I could easily see a Yakuza minded HP, and definitely enjoyed reading your take on it, and even liked your aspect of turning Hermione and Neville (and others) into informed Gaijin… |
![]() ![]() ![]() The last chapter you had Sirius marking off who was left, and it was said that Mulciber and Travers were both “gotten by” either Moony or Sirius. Did you mean tagged? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hmmm… I was wondering why the twins were still in school, considering they were in their 7th year when the trio were in their 5th… |
![]() ![]() ![]() good story i definitely enjoyed it |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm sad there's no epilogue but this story was dramatically camp and I love it |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story low key annoying |
![]() ![]() ![]() An intriguing and interesting must read story! Not a major adventure, no Romance, just a good read! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hey, really enjoyed your story! It had a very good pace and was written in really good English (despite what some reviews by a reader apparently complained) - far better than what I usually have to endure reading fan fiction (but I can't complain as this is not the authors' job and they are just doing us all a favour uploading their ideas up here). I just wanted to ask if you wrote these words on purpose (and they are an urban slang I don't understand) or by mistake: 'process' instead of 'proceed' 'resemble' instead of 'resent' 'banish' instead of 'vanish' And finally, thanks for the enjoyable read! |
![]() ![]() ![]() "For those of you who object, don't" 'Hai hai, kumicho!' *grins* I am having way too much fun with this story. Thanks for sharing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Took me 3.5 days to get thru this, but it was worth every moment. Well done! |
![]() ![]() This was an unexpectedly fun trip. I've never read a "Harry goes to Japan" fic before, unless you count the brief stop he made in "Make A Wish" by Rorschach's Blot. The few plot holes were pretty minor, considering how long it took this fic to be written, and not too egregious. I had a little more trouble following all of the Japanese dialogue and terminology, but I had a (very little) bit of knowledge going in...and for the rest, Google is my friend. The translations at the bottom of the chapters would have been more helpful if they covered everything used in that chapter, rather than just bits and pieces, but I get that this was written for fun (not to mention it would be a bitch and a half to go back and try to put them in at this late date), so yeah. I'm just happy that I got a chance to read it. I really enjoyed Harry's transformation into Yusuke (what's not to love about a scary assassin with diplomatic immunity and a license to kill bad guys?), and I found it hilarious that he used anime and manga as inspiration for things like mallet space, etc. I honestly kept hoping that Hermione would introduce him to Looney Tunes, just to see what would happen...although on second thought, that probably would have ended with one of the trio dropping an anvil on Ron or Draco's head, so maybe it's for the best that they never veered in that direction. Out of everything, the only thing I was really disappointed with was that there was never a big blow-up with Dumbledore. After all the crap he pulled, he really deserved it (or at least a dressing down that he actually had to pay attention to, for a change), but it was also poetic that he didn't even notice his slide into ignominy and insignificance until it was already done. I can only imagine him spending the rest of his days sulking and trying to come up with ways to make Yusuke come back to England and be Harry Potter again, since he never seemed to get over that. What a moron. |
