AllyCat13 chapter 24 . 6/21/2003 Well, I have been enjoying this story, but for some reason I can't get the site to let me load all of chapter 25, or show any of the chapters following. Could you perhaps email me a copy? Thanks! ~AllyCat |
Andrea13 chapter 25 . 6/21/2003 And now that I have a bit more time to sit and review! I'd clicked after seeing the new chapters were finally up, forgetting I didn't have much time before I had to leave for my class! *g* I'll see if I can remember some of my squealing comments. Dustine Binns is my absolute favorite. *gigglefits* Hysterical! I keep thinking there's something more to Binns than just the boring old teacher stereotype, and I liked what you did with him. Plus the name! *snort* His solution at the end was inspired, and I like that Ron was able to collect some credit where due as well! Hah! I knew that those roses were trouble the minute they showed up. I thought Harry was going to fall unconscious right there, a victim to another one of your fairy tale plots, and then told myself I was being paranoid when he didn't. Just shows you shouldn't doubt your first answer! ;) I'm a little sorry he returned all the gifts bought there. I would've loved to see Ginny's reaction to getting that glass unicorn. Hermione's gift to Harry at the end was just lovely. A great touch right up there with Hagrid giving Harry his photo album way back when. Applause to Ginny and the Gryffindor Quidditch team for their dragon-fighting tactics! I think the team did a great job considering their lack of preparation. Just proves that you need ALL kinds of students at Hogwarts - the daring idiots who charge blindly into danger long enough for the intelligent people to get a plan together. ;) Ginny connecting the glasses with the double dragon appearances was a great deduction, especially in the middle of a very charged situaion! And I giggled hysterically over both Bill's description of why peanut butter was invented and Snape's rescue of Fred. Harry teaching the Patronus was a good idea, and unfortunately something that the students will likely need in the coming months. The Weasley competition was great, and very true to character! Fred's Patronus made me crack up, though I'm very relieved for his and Angelina's future now! (I'm assuming she told him she loved him for his happy memory. If she didn't, don't tell me and spoil my illusions! *g*) And speaking of Patronuses (Patroni?), Cho's was absolutely perfect and made me get all sniffly. You handled Cho absolutely beautifully, giving her just the right mix of grief, anger, resentment, and forgiveness. I hope she'll be happy at Beauxbatons. I think I've babbled on enough! Suffice to say, I liked very, very, very much! I just hope OOtP lives up to this now! *g* |
coolone007 chapter 25 . 6/20/2003 I can't wait to read your next book! |
Miss Kitty chapter 15 . 6/20/2003 THIS IS REALLY GOOD!I READ THIS WHILE WAITIN 4 HARRY POTTER 5!ITS JUST AS GOOD AS THE FIRST 4 HPs!1 |
Alla chapter 25 . 6/20/2003 I can't believe that this is over. Thank you for amazing read, but at the same time I would like to call you " an evil, evil person" again. You did not reveal who made poor child spend most of his school year in the hospital wing. I suspect that you wanted to reveal him in "Sirius situation", but still :) What is Hermione's animagus form? Is she a phoenix? Thank you so much! Alla |
Alla chapter 24 . 6/20/2003 Quidditch match was a masterpice in the best traditions of the potterworld. :) Fight with dragon was very suspenceful and funny at the same time. "Gryffindors noted for their courage charged, Ravenclaws, noted for their wisdom retreated" He. Loved Bill hitting dragon wih peanutbutter. Loved Ginny getting jealous and Ron's defending Cho's and Harry's honor. Poor Harry... Back to the hospital wing again. :( Alla |
Alla chapter 23 . 6/20/2003 Loved everything as always. Loved Ron and harry talk, loved how he dealt with his jealousy. Loved how multilayered your characters are. George's trying to give Hermione and Ginny advice was so much fun. By the way, I just read absolutely awful spoiler for OOP. I am crossing my fingers, hoping that it is not true. :( Thank you, Alla |
Brightly75 chapter 13 . 6/20/2003 There is no chapter thirteen because there is no thirteenth floor at Wayside School. Moving along. I've really enjoyed this story so far. looking forward to reading the rest. |
Chary chapter 25 . 6/20/2003 Hi, I've been trying on and off all night to get into chapter 23 and just won't let me - I keep getting that annoying "site is experiencing overload" message. I don't know what's wrong because I can open all the other chapters but just not that one, so it doesn't *seem* like it's an overload problem... Anyway, I don't really want to spoil things and read 24 and 25 without it, so I'll come back and try again! |
Lady Knight of Kennan chapter 25 . 6/20/2003 excellant! an awesome end to a chapter! heehee... harry certainly spent a lot of time in the hospital wing that year! this was an excellant story... keep it up! tootles! LKoK |
AerinBrown chapter 25 . 6/20/2003 Way cute ending! In fact, the whole thing was just way too cute. I love Ginny's brothers and their overly protective attitude (especially when Harry gave Ginny flowers on Valentines!) The humor in this story was excellent, as was the action. Very well written, can't wait for the next story! Keep writing! |
Andrea13 chapter 25 . 6/20/2003 *sniffles* Aww. Wonderful. Perfect. Fabulous. Have to go to class! :( |
Ozma chapter 25 . 6/20/2003 It was the rose... but I'm glad the real proprietess wasn't the assassin. And I'm glad she's all right. The scene with Harry and Sirius was lovely. (I love Harry's first broom. I bet the Wishing Star is adorable!) Aw! Ginny made a Knitten Mousie for Mrs. Norris! :o) Harry IS a good teacher. (Any resemblences to Lockhart's first lesson were purely coincidental.) "I thought we were going to be quieter than Ron and Hermione." "Irritated Banshees are quieter than Ron and Hermione." LOL! "Out of the corner of her eye she saw that she wasn't the only one headed for the fight... most of the crowd had red hair..." The LOOK that Prongs gave Harry made me laugh so hard that I nearly spit coffee all over my keyboard. Poor Harry! His injuries made me cringe. The identity of Cho's Patronus was beautiful. And the scene where everyone makes sure that Harry WILL have a chance to take his OWLS after all was magnificent. As always, I love the way that you write Harry and Ginny together. Thanks for posting these chapters! |
Ozma chapter 24 . 6/20/2003 Some of this is familiar, but some of it's not, and I'm thrilled to see all of it! Millicent Rocks! I loved the scene when she punched Draco! Served the little ferret right. I also loved Hermione standing up to Snape when there wasn't a darned thing he could do about it. Hermione's method for asking Ron to the Ball was awesome and sweet! Speaking of Hermione, WHAT's HER ANIMAGUS FORM? I can't wait to know! Millicent ROCKS ON! Her scenes with Pansy and Harry were pure poetry. Dusty is BINNS? (In retrospect, I guess I should have guessed, but the revelation practically made me fall out of my chair.) Wow! Howler!Ron is quite a force of nature... he's Molly's boy all right. I loved what he said to Ginny and Hermione about Cho and Harry. ERK! Poisoned again? The rose? Onward! |
Ozma chapter 23 . 6/20/2003 Whole lotta new chapters! WooHOO! Loved this one, can't wait to get to the next one! Some stuff I loved: "Any day that doesn't start with rooster feathers on my pillow..." "All lies, and it was Ron's fault..." Ginny gets the best lines! Though I loved Ron's 'misty-voiced' prediction in Divination. Hilarious! And the fight between Ron and Harry was perfectly in character for both of them. Intense, full of emotion and (thank you!) swiftly over. Thank you again for the swift demise of Cho's bitterness against Harry. She's too fine and good a person to hold on that sort of darkness. Dusty's cool. Remus and Sirius! They're BACK! (Will we get to see Harry and Ginny chatting in Parseltongue? Boy, would that freak everyone out...) Onward! |
