A wonderful story, from start to finish. Was on my favorites list just about the whole time.

I am especially grateful for all the humor; it was just enough to be highly amusing and endearing, not so much as to detract from a good story.

At the end, I wondered - if the dragon and the glass rose-poison were too heavy-handed to be Voldemort, could they have been sent by - Fudge?

Yeah! Good Ending! I hope you do another one continuing this story. I particularly like how you portrayed Ron in this story. He matured so much during it. Too many fanfictions have him come across as angry.

I've already submitted my review for chapter 25, but there was something in this chapter I felt I had to respond to.

And that's Milicent's dentention. I loved the way you implied that she had a crush on Harry and that she knew nothing would ever come of it, but she still allowed herself to dream for a moment. Of course the reason I like this scene so much is that her actions remind me of my last crush. Sometimes that moment is all we need.

However, why was Pansy there in the first place? It's obvious she isn't Milicent's friend, and I doubt she's there for Harry's sake, so why?

As I sit here in front of my computer at an ungodly hour of the morning (a serious insomnia problem and unlimited internet access is sometimes a bad mixture) I find myself hard put to describe just how much I loved this story. And it's not just because I kept seeing things in the last couple of chapter that were answers to questions I asked in my reviews.

I, for one, will be eagerly awaiting the next story you write. However, I also understand your wanting to take a break after writing this. (But, as a favor to me, would you mind not having a three year gap between this one and the next?)

I don't think I have laughed so hard in a long time. Thank you! I have enjoyed this story tremedously and I look forward to reading more!

I don't know what I did not like in this chapter. Minerva letting Severus have it all was VERY satisfactory. I said it many times - I love him, but I wish he would grow up. :)

I love how you developed even minor characters of the canon. Loved your Angelina - very alive and very believable.

Hagrid lessons were so much fun. he- baby Bookwyrm. Did Hagrid manage to tame the Senior one? :)

Sorry for not reviewing for awhile. I got a summer job and you know how that goes. I loved the past few chapters. I've been reading it on . It's fabulous. I felt really touched when I read the part about Punkin-head in one of the previous chapters. Love it Dahlin. Keep up the fantastic work and I can't wait to see what happens.

I am *so* sorry I'm late again with my review, I seem to be staggering from one crisis to another lately! Anyhoo, these chapters were brilliant, I can't believe how much you've got done! Okay, first off, I never suspected Dr Opal for a second, that was a real surprise and very cleverly done. The battle was also wonderfully orchestrated, my favourite parts were Hagrid and Rupert Granger riding to the rescue - "I didn’t lie, I never lie," Rupert said with as much dignity as he could muster. "Marie Antoinette had terrible legs!" Heh! Harry and the parseltongue rope was great too. Oh, I also loved the nod to Wizard of Oz with the Poppy fountain. It was good to see the children save the day themselves as usual; I was a bit worried it might be Dumbledore who saved them and that just wouldn't have seemed right. This was also very funny: "Oh, shut up,” the Red Queen said. She tried to push the door to Harry’s room open, but Harry had sealed it. “We’ll need a battering ram," she said. She looked at the damaged Bishop speculatively. "Oh, bugger,” the Bishop said. :)

You're right that the story tone changed a little at chapter 21, but not in a bad way – it was exciting, like starting a new story almost, which I suppose it was really! Fudge's actions were terrible - will anything further come of that as Harry basically escaped rather than was released? Leaving him pretty much blind was also incredibly cruel - if I hadn't hated Fudge before I would have after that. I liked Ron's dream of sitting in the carriage with his brothers and sister enjoying the ride to Hogwarts together - I have two sisters and a brother myself and when you get on well, there's nothing quite so much fun or as comfortable as spending time with siblings, probably more after you reach adulthood though I admit! I adored the conversation between McGonagall and Snape, no question who's the boss there and those fifteen points from *Mr Snape* were hilarious! Good to see Bill as the new DADA professor, I've always liked him and you had a baby Bookwyrm - Aww! The Bookwyrm was one of my favourite characters! I wish we'd got to here it issue the challenge for the duel! I'm glad Harry wasn't made seeker, Angelina obviously wanted it a great deal and Harry will have his chance next year. Anyway, he's got too much going on now. Bill's advice was great - I loved the image of Harry storming into the common room dressed like a mutant peacock and giving Ron what for. I think this was one of my favourite lines: "Harry wasn’t sure if it was because he was out of bed, because he was yelling himself red in the face, because he was dressed in the God-Awful-Mutant-Peacock robes that the twins had given him for his birthday, or because he was brandishing a copy of Which Broomstick in one hand and a bedpan in the other. He concluded later that it was probably a combination of all those things." Very funny!

I am glad though you didn’t let Harry and Ron’s disagreement spiral out of control – the conversations you write between them are too much fun to go missing, even for a little while. Well, you said you wanted to get chapters 21-25 out before the official version but that’s only one day away, so I do hope you manage it – has been very unreliable lately. Whatever happens I’ll be back to find out how the story ends and with any luck, see a little bit of Sirius too, especially as these last few chapters were supposed to be his the poor devil!

I saw Chapters 23-25 appear about 3 or 4 hours ago and FFnet is still saying they don't exist. Doesn't look like the usual delay.

OOh...this is an interesting chapter! Please continue writing this story, I really like it! :D

This is so good. I was alughing so hard dyring the part where Harry was yelling at Ron about the broom.

Also, did you actually put up 'chapters' 23-25 or is acting weird again showing there are more chapters then there really are?
