I think Harry should get revenge against Sirius! How, I have no clue, but he should. I love the story, update soon.

I liked that line at the end, about Perseus and Gilgamesh and how they died. _ Oh, and ack! 100 more days until the book is out! _

I loved this chapter. You must have done a lot of research for the scene between Hermione and Dumbledore. Yeah my roomie loves 's read it and she can't wait til the next chapter either. I loved the whole scene between Mrs. Figg, Harry and Sirius. It was full of several different emotions. Very convincing! Can't wait until the next chapter!

What a lovely job you do with mood shifts. One moment Harry is profoundly irritated with Sirius, and the next moment, Sirius's "it's so hard to send him away. I want to keep him," is turning both Harry and me into mush. Aw!

I loved your descriptions of the affectionate cats. "Lovelorn Persian, Amorous Abyssinian." Your take on Mrs. Figg is delightful. She's so funny and gruff, and I like her wicked sense of humor. "No, I taught Home Economics." Hee!

The bit about Harry storming off, then coming back for a chocolate frog also made me laugh.

The "On Heroes" conversation between Hermione and Dumbledore was absolutely awesome. If there was some way to fit a standing ovation into this little review box I'd do it. The whole catalogue of Heroes who met sticky ends was so sad. When Hermione named them all and their assorted causes of death, my eyes got all teary. Then, when Hermione and Dumbledore went over each hero's weakness, and Dumbledore mentioned two heroes who died of old age in bed. Wow.

Oh! I almost forgot. the descriptions of Hermione's pictures were an utter delight. I loved the ones of her reading, where only the top of her head is visible. And the one of Hermiome, Ron and Harry wearing the invisibility cloak in front of the common room fire. Oh, and I also loved the bit about giving the young Creeveys pointers on how to be Harry's friends instead of his fans.

I have a feeling that this review isn't as coherent as it should be, but I hope you can tell how much I love this chapter!

I loved Professor Dumbledore and Hermione's discussion about the great heroes of mythology. They're right that Harry's biggest flaw is his tendancy to try and go it alone, but there's an excellent reason for it. For far too long, and at starting a very early age the only person he could rely on was himself. Placing Harry with the Dursley's was a terrible mistake on Dumbledore's part. Considering his childhood, it's a miracle that Harry is as well-adjusted as he is. Can you imagine what potty training must have been like for Harry?

THIS IS THE MOST CONVINCINGLY REAL FANFIC I HAVE EVER READ! I LOVE SIRIUS BLACK. I LIKE HOW HE MADE HIS GRAND ENTRANCE INTO YOUR STORY. UPDATE FAST!

I loved loved LOVED Hermione and Dumbledore's discussion of classical heroes! It was really interesting to see an analysis of how all of them had their failings, and how hopefully Harry can avoid the same pitfalls. It's wonderful to see Harry's friends worrying about him and trying to help.
