Wow! You updated. This is great so far. So, Harry's going to have a kitirrhkna hemmorhage? (I know I spelled it wrong.) Oh, and was Lily's letter addressed to Petunia? Because why would it say PV? I mean, wouldn't it be PD for Petunia Dursley or PE for Petunia Evans if Petunia is still unmarried? Just curious.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, Jill, but you wouldn't believe how busy I've been the past week. Anyway, I must say, you are up to your usual fine fan fiction form (sorry about the alliteration by the way; too many years of being a comic book fan, I suppose). As for our joint project, don't sweat it. You're a busy woman and I can respect that.

You are truly a very gifted writer, Jelsemium. My heart went out to all of these children in this chapter, who have to grow up so quickly, because of the upcoming war. Ron, who does not like Romeo and Juliette, because it reminds him of teenagers dying, Harry, who gets white heair at 15...

Shakespeare being a squib was a very nice touch.

Hope you do and so far so very good in your story. I never expected that Harry's great-grandmoter (I hope I got that right) was ill. I compliment you on your story with an edge of humor in it. I know it was last chapter, but so what? Your parent's said that too? About the floor I mean...

It's always been a running joke in our house that if we fall over, we have to make sure the floor isn't hurt.

It's actually a good trick to use with young children as it distracts them from their initial pain, and can also cheer them up because nothing is funnier than seeing your mum trying to put a plaster/band-aid (depending on which side of the atlantic you are from) on the floor...

Brilliant story... I love the interaction between Petunia and Harry, as hardly anyone ever develops the relationships between those two. I also think Pixie is a brilliant name for the cat.

Oh dear, I'm behind with everything just lately, including reading and reviewing! Okay, cockroaches. Well we *know* what they are, we just don't call them that and they're also not so hugely horrible as the ones you seem to have, (I'm thinking now of the cockroaches in Joe's Apartment and various other american tv shows :shudder:)

Pigwidgeon being Harry's attacker was a relief and very amusing - it's a good job he's as tiny as he is otherwise he'd be lethal, and poor Harry! At first I thought his white hair was just stress, but of course in the next chapter it turns out it could be a symptom of a far more serious illness, especially with his stomach pains - very worrying, but it was lovely to see Molly cared enough for him to immediately start investigating the cause of his sudden greyness.

I'm glad Harry and Ron's argument didn't last and Harry's way of smoothing it over was clever, but I can see why Ron was miffed. His awkwardness over the developing relationship with Hermione is obviously making him overly sensitive, poor lamb, along with his fear for everyone's safety that he's been keeping bottled up.

I love Ginny and Ron's conversations; the two of them are just as close as I'd imagine them to be given that there's only a year difference in their ages. And - “No fair, Mum would hex me if I hit you!” Hee, hee - the whinging cry of *all* brothers, wizard or Muggle!

I can't believe Petunia is packing Harry off to the attic. Every time she shows a hint of a human side, she ruins it almost immediately. Terrible woman. The trunk transfiguring at the end there was intriguing and I can't wait to find out what's in the parcels, so I hope you'll be updating soon!
