Reviews for A Harry Situation |

lemon drop chapter 21 . 7/4/2003 no way Hermione could be crushing on Bill! (but that will make for an interesting plot) Poor Harry! I hate Fudge, especially after reading OOtP. I would write more, but i wanna finish the reading the story! |
lemon drop chapter 20 . 7/4/2003 It's been a while since I've read anything on fanfic, but now that i've waited, i get a whole lot of updates to read. :-) Yay for Harry and Ginny! I can't wait to see what you make of it, guess i'll find out after i read the next few chapters! |
Chary chapter 25 . 7/3/2003 Oh, I'm so sorry this is over, but what a wonderful ending it was! I'm very glad Harry finally decided that he did feel about Ginny "that way", but I'm also glad you didn't rush it. One of the best bits about these most recent chapters has been the gentle progression of their romance, Ron and Hermione's too actually, they're so much fun together. I think Ginny's line summed it up best: Ginny shot him a sideways look. "Irritated banshees are quieter than Ron and Hermione," she said. I didn't guess who "Dusty" was at all - I liked him a lot - he got to call Dumbledore, Red and he saved Harry from Snape, no one can call him dull now! Great name too :) I liked what you did with Millicent too, the scene with her watching over Harry in the Infirmary was very touching. I was disappointed in Pansy though, especially after how much better she was in St Mungo's, but then I suppose love can make the best of us crazy. I'm glad you didn't have Cho blame Harry for Cedric's death, he doesn't deserve any more heartache over that. Ron's telling off of Ginny and Hermione over her was very Molly Weasley-ish, wonderful stuff! Cho's Patronus at the end was lovely and I can completely understand why she would want to transfer to Beauxbaton’s. Cruel though it is, I couldn’t help but think that might put Ginny’s mind at rest too. I thought the Quidditch match with the dragon attack was really well written, and I loved everyone rushing in to save the day in their own way. Bill's peanut butter spell was neat, and Hagrid was brilliant on his two brooms. I loved Snape and Fred's secrecy pact too. :) I am a bit sad we never got to find out who was behind it all and also what Hermione's Animagus form was - you do plan to write more don't you? I need to know! Reading this post OOTP, it was interesting to see you guessed some of the things ahead of time - Harry's defence classes and Ron and Ginny on the Quidditch team, I’m sure there was something else, but I can’t remember it just at the minute. I definitely would have preferred your ending to the real one though. :( Well, that was a brilliant ending to a brilliant story, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I just hope that it’s not the last we’ll see of it – you’ve left a tantalising number of questions just begging to be answered! |
I wish I had money chapter 9 . 7/2/2003 This is a really good story |
NengSki chapter 25 . 6/30/2003 *jumping up and down and making delighted squawks* i love it! the scene at the hospital was very creative and URGH! loved it. harry's magic was awesome. then the last fight scene was brilliant. i loved that you used a simple item as the -damn- i don't want to say much in case someone reads the reviews before the chapters. but this is such a great story! and your kiss scene is MUCH MUCH better than the one in OOtP. can't wait for the next installment. and the ending was sweet but not gushy, mushy sweet. thank you! |
Guest chapter 23 . 6/28/2003 okay its good BUT giny should NOT be a parseltongue, that ruins it. { |
Female Fred chapter 25 . 6/27/2003 Wow, wonderful ending! |
Belinde Maline chapter 25 . 6/26/2003 woo hoo, woo hoo! am happy she finally kissed him. thanks for that most awesome read! tried to submit a review before now, but has it in for me and I couldn't. I think I'll go read it from the start all over again! |
Reader chapter 22 . 6/25/2003 I trhought this was 5th year, or did I mess that up? Because Hermione should only be turning 15, then. JKR confirmed she is the youngest. |
GryffindorBabe chapter 25 . 6/25/2003 aw...such a sweet ending I can't beleive that your tory has ended...it was ALMOST as good as the real thing well thank you for the months of enjoyable reading hope to see more from you xx |
Malach chapter 25 . 6/24/2003 Thoroughly enjoyed the entire story, and I'm looking forward to "A Sirius Situation." |
Pseudonym Sylphmuse chapter 25 . 6/24/2003 What the? Where’s the part about poisoning? Wouldn’t Dumbledore know? GAHH! Must read more… And Ginny has much of an iron grip, eh? Now why does that remind of a certain Mrs. Weasely? I forgot about the other names for Harry. Leo… Leo-mine… okay… I’m getting to like that nickname too much. _ And Harry and Ginny… Nature does make a beautifully, elaborately, amusing way. And Filch? And knitten mousie? Maybe he might want knitten chains too? For the chains that he so wanted in perpetrating mischief-makers. *claps* Christmas presents time… wonderfully ingenious. Drat. I owe the Parkinsons an apology. I jumped to matters too soon. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THE SNITCH! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! _ I know why everyone wants to learn the Patronus. It’s probably because of the third year… the emotions… probably hurt and they don’t want it to happen again. Harry wasn’t the only one almost traumatized. I think the others would’ve gone to Lupin too had it not been for their pride and fear. And since Harry’s become almost everyone’s friend, they’re comfortable with having him as the teacher also. Dumbledore…. Dumbledore… the time has come for the BINNS! *cough* Sorry, couldn’t resist typing that. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Torturous torture through twins! Funny _ *hint, hint, poke, poke, giggle, giggle* - Reminds me of that from the part about Easter. THE MANTRA! I must remember it… except editted: maniacal guinea pig, maniacal guinea pig or maybe bouncing tellybrothers, bouncing tellybrothers. *bursts into maniacal laughter in real life and scares numerous persons in the house with the said laughter* Too funny. *brief pause to open the door and let someone use the phone* *blinks* And the person even told us to not open doors to strangers. GLASSES! THE DRAGON WAS AFTER GLASSES? Then again that is a noticeable thing… physically, there aren’t many people that wear glasses in the book too! And Cho… she really loved Cedric, ne? He is her happiest memory as well as patronus. I wonder… I think maybe the golden canary is Fred’s is because maybe that was his and his brother’s first experiment that SUCCEEDED. Binns… his obsession went LONG after death. Dumbledore is more than 500 years old I’m sure… Ginny… is one… hell of… a Weasely…. _ in good terms of course. You’ll be happy to know she has more personality shows in the Order of the Phoenix. |
Pseudonym Sylphmuse chapter 24 . 6/24/2003 A DRAGON? Never expected that one in the story. Or in the Quidditch Match for that matter. It seems the Potter Charm works on dragons to be their gender female or male _~ joking of course… halfway through. PB? … genius whoever discovered how to make it… works wonders with my little whinging brother. Ingenious story this is. Uses the old and new tactics and adds a mixture of other information from other stories/famous books/amusing quotes. By the way how did the hole become there anyway? I hope it’s answered somewhere in the story… soon. And Fred and Snapey making a deal because they don’t want their reps to be spoiled? Would never’ve have imagined that happening… Xiamara Hooch? Why does that remind me of another name…? Oh… so Ginny’s going to be the wyvern? I thought it would be Hermione but oh well… hers is going to be surprising. Must read more…no! It is still a mystery! Could she be a phoenix? They burst into flames… but it might be because remember the fire stare where she made Nicely burst into flames maybe it was because the form staring from the mirror made her burst into flames… Hmm… Strange Dusty… he can change his age… AMAZING! And Ron AND Neville dreamy… *cackles* if only Malfoy knew how much they mooned over his… umm… untimely demise. I never thought the raving of flying in THAT sense… but hey, it works! At least for Ron and Hermione it does. Oh… so… Pansy’s in love. Oh my, so that’s why. Malfoy doesn’t deserve her. If he can’t even insult properly how will he love properly? Hmm… that didn’t come out right or with much sense… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I didn’t think I would laugh because of Goyle but I have… because of his complete idiocy. And I’m amazed… *sigh* maybe Olivia Guppy is falling for Snape… but still admits that he has his bad points. What a sensible woman in that sense. “Not that Millicent cared much. She wasn’t in love with Neville by any means. However, he was nice to her and that was all she wanted for now.” Direct quote and she is one sensible young lady. I like Millicent. She’s grown into being a mature, sensible young lady, and if any young bucko sees the beautiful nature underneath he’ll count himself lucky. And Harry is sensible in wondering whether if you like someone in THAT way whether it be true or not. And since he’s taking his godly time finding out I can be sure that the knot has been tied for the two of them. BINNS? I think I might have an online heart attack. Thanks for including him in that way! _ It will surely improve people’s opinions of him. OUCH! I agree with Hermione… what a shock. He had such a conscience! And what a good way to say his words too! No wonder Ginny was in shock. The shopping was nicely done! _ Glass roses and puzzle boxes… magnifique! I don’t even know I spelled that right too o_o. *blink, blink, blinks?* Poisoned? Drat. I forgot. Parkinsons, quote, quotes… hints, hints. |
Pseudonym Sylphmuse chapter 20 . 6/24/2003 Ahh, the never-ending pride of parents. It must be such a beauty to have their years wiped because of a smile from their little daughters/sons. Works wonders with Dumbledore, eh? Like a Dryad’s kiss… _ I read an old folktale somewhere that a Dryad’s kiss makes a person ten years younger… and they can distribute their kisses more than once too _. I would never’ve thought of Professor Opal? Amazing, it was such a surprise… and yet at the same time believable. *claps* Congratulations on your good representation in the change of behavior! As well as the plans! I’d never have thought that the presents would be the things that would help to end the demise of good nature. Then again I never thought that in this part of the story anyone would turn their backs on the other side. Quite a surprise to me. But then, the Slytherins that have turned out to be great Slytherins is true, eh? *points to her copy of Order of the Phoenix* You’ll be happy to know I bet that, in the Sorting Hat’s song, it told about how the closest pairing of friends was actually Gryffindor and Slytherin. But then again… blind courage and slyness is not all that far apart. *blinks* So… Ronny broke the news and his mother broke the water-pipes. *blinks* Not so amazingly… redheads run in the Potter family. How many times has it been? Three? No now that I’ve continued that’s four? Maybe there’ll be a fifth *grins evilly*. PS: Sorry about the short reviews. Now that I have now seen the usage of Microsoft Word and typing when I find myself highly amused with some part of your story. *nod, nods* But then you’re already prepared for long reviews, eh? |
Pseudonym Sylphmuse chapter 23 . 6/24/2003 *blinks* Pansy has reverted to her old self might fast, eh? Or it might just be because she doesn’t want to be mobbed by the Slytherins if they discovered she was associating with the other ‘likes’. And is Hermione’s Animagus form a Wyvern? I should’ve put that idea on the review before this one and I’m not even halfway through the chapter yet… and maybe the thing will be reviewed at the end hmm… *blink, blink, blinks?* Cho had truly loved Cedric, eh? *sighs* Maybe he’ll be reincarnated and they’ll soon be married? *hopes* Addition: *pause in which Pseudonym Sylphmuse chokes down as much cantaloupe as she can to distract her mother* Done. *whistles* I LOVE GINNY! She’s my favorite character. She has to have guts trying to flush Tom Riddle down the toilet. Blackmail material on Dumbledore! I love that! _ MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Bet Old Voldy never figured out that he could’ve done THAT! Ginny as a parselmouth? Why that’s… an odd and wondrous coupling that will surely scare Fred and George and make them choke when they see a very angry snake heading their way. Besides the winged snake of course. From what I have read I can tell you a few of what you said is true: 2 and 8… J.K. Rowling is insinuating that Bill and Fleur are going to get together with the many ‘private’ lessons being given. |
