AJGuardian chapter 24 . 6/17/2015 Well...I can say that Humanity has come out far stronger than what we normally would see. |
AJGuardian chapter 13 . 6/17/2015 ...LOOOOOL! Nice. I see what you did there! |
AJGuardian chapter 12 . 6/17/2015 Great...so the war made humanity develop exponentially... |
AJGuardian chapter 8 . 6/17/2015 Brilliant so far. Even if it's so short. I can connect the dots on my own, if that was your intention from the start. |
AJGuardian chapter 1 . 6/15/2015 TV Tropes brought me here... I intend to enjoy this now that I have found it. Let's have a look see, eh? See you all at the end...and in between. |
Ralmon chapter 14 . 6/10/2015 I don't really get this. I'm so confused. Also reads like a history book, dry and disconnected, but lacking details. It is often very vague in many important details. There are also a critical flaw. Humans have reverse engineered Batarian technology yet they are still behind. If humans have successfully reverse engineered Batarian technology then humans could at least create duplicates. How they are still behind is unconvincing. It also seems that you are ignorant of what reverse engineering actually means. |
Vallerine chapter 70 . 4/20/2015 On the TVTropes page for this, it tells me i'm not reading a story. I disagree, this is very much a story, and a glorious one at that! I actually started playing from Mass Effect 3, and then went trilogy backwards. The games were fun to play, but something that caught my eye was the way the writing got better in the older games, as gameplay features and quality decreased. Reinterpretations was challenge, and I would love to play through this world in-depth. The concept didn't sell me in the summary, paragon fan that I am, but this was genuinely thought provoking. I think the first time I read it was midway through 2014, but I've come back twice now, and either I'm picking up or understanding more as I go on. The endings were a perspective changer, up until the last two chapters, I would sign on as a xeno-nationalist every time and aim for a return to paragon-hood and the slow creep of galactic improvement. But the endings for assimilation are too tempting! The base to rebuilt council success would be my ideal ending, but I'd take far too many xeno choices on the road to reach it. The base to alliance, failed legitimacy check is the most intriguing to me however. The third galactic power, development held completely independently, and the eventual return. I would absolutely be on board for a ME3 expansion, or even more preferably, a Lanius for the aftershock and the new galaxy. Either political stance would make for a good read, I feel. Well written! :3 |
trninjakiller chapter 24 . 3/19/2015 I hope to all fucking hell this isnt going to be a "you choose your own story deal". Make a fucking story. Don't make something so fucking vague that nobody can understand the story due to the most important decisions in the game not being included in it. |
Guest chapter 14 . 3/18/2015 Wouldn't Europe be shot at as well? |
Apex85 chapter 24 . 1/16/2015 FUCK THIS SHIT! YOU JUST MADE HUMANITY LOSE IT'S BACKBONE AT THE LAST, FORCING THEM TO BEND BACKWARDS TO THE FUCKING COUNCIL SECOND JUST TO FIT CANON WHILE DENYING THEIR JUSTIFIED CRUSADE AND CRIPPLED THEIR STRENGTH! THE IMPERIUM OF MAN SHOULD BURN YOU ON A STAKE FOR THIS HERESY! |
Apex85 chapter 22 . 1/16/2015 I have only 3 words to describe how I feel about this: HUMANITY, FUCK YEAH! |
Deinokos chapter 42 . 1/16/2015 Minor correction you have in the Alenko section. Shepard paternalizes...Shepard? Anyways, nice work. :) |
