Lord Macnaughton chapter 23 . 2/19/2020 This story is shit there is no way Humanity could maintain this level of warfare for so long nor could it transport arm and armor millions of clones maybe if you had said that they use mass armies of clones but the disadvantage of the clones was they weren't armored and were just given guns because nobody cared if the clones survived this I could ignore but not this shit the Council would never stand by as a member species which was being considered for Council status be destroyed by a hostile species but thats beside the point of Humanity could not destroy the Batarians in ME1 it was doubtful Humanity could win a war against the Batarians you keep giving Humanity ships that magically appear out of nowhere where were they manufactured how long does it take to manufacture why don't the Batarians have more ships in production where are the orbital defenses any every species would have orbital defenses in the form of space stations like Halo Mac Canons around Earth and Reach in Mass Effect they would have them defending their planets and moons and especially the Mass Relays fortifying the choke points. Once the Turians join the war Humnity doesn't stand a chance the Turians have the strongest army in the Galaxy and thats during peace time. Your understanding of military tactics is lacking in ME their ships travel in real space as opposed to Halo where they travel in a different dimension this means you could have "listening posts" to keep watch over any ships approaching a system and if the Human 5th fleet travelled through the mass relays to attack the Batarian colonies then the Colony could send a distress signal and a Batarian fleet would be there within minutes to help cutting off the relay as an escape route and there is just to much to go into like how the Council would not forgive a species that is commiting crimes against civilians of all species attacking ships and colonies of all species this of course includes Council member species. Oh and you treat the Batarians as some primitive species who have no concept of the galaxy beyond their territory or the fact that a hostile species is attacking them saying that the Batarian Nation States on their homeworld start attacking each other during a planetary invasion is bad writing that would be like each state in America attacking each other after Russia destroyed the Navy and Air Force this would not happen nothing unites a people more than a common enemy. |
Guest chapter 13 . 2/12/2020 UNSC Terra 250,000 Kilometers long 10 million stellar mass black hole power source. Primary weapons: gamma day burst accelerater cannon. 50 thousand Infinity MAC cannons. 100 billion point defense lasers. 100 Million missile pods. Armor: 50 K of hardlight armor. Shielding: energy shields, plasma barriers, and hardlight shields. I designed this ship because of this story. Your right, it does make you rage. |
Guest chapter 24 . 7/11/2019 I have a hard time believing that the Turian Hierarchy would defend the Batarians in this situation. Do they know the truth or are they believing what the Hegemony said? If the Turians had been attacked in the same way as Humanity, they would have exterminated the Batarians. The Humanity you have portrayed so far would never accept that armistice. Wtf. |
Guest chapter 16 . 7/11/2019 FYI, it should be Intragalactic or Interstellar. Intergalactic means within more than one galaxy. |
RandoFox chapter 24 . 6/14/2019 why did humanity decide to join the bloody council of all things, it is the most ineffective government i've ever seen in a video game and the humans are really limiting themselves by agreeing to the citadel treaties, humanity basically just took a fucking knife and neutered themselves! Kill all the filthy alien scum! |
Gargarin chapter 26 . 4/18/2019 I think that you have perhaps underestimated the play of terror in the negotiations with this council. One cobalt enriched tsar bomba functionally ruins the planet forever. I doubt space going species that know each other's home address should wish to chance such a thing. |
The Jingo chapter 17 . 1/11/2019 I don't know why you insist on making every other species hilariously evil. |
SardonicEffigy chapter 20 . 12/24/2018 This is a damn good story so far, and I've only scratched the surface. I really lool forward to the reat of the story as a whole. Unfortunately I require sleep... damn human body needing to recharge. |
Guest chapter 24 . 11/11/2018 There is no real reason for humans to sign that treaty and give up their advantages and join the council they are not economically tied to the citadel in any way and the citadel races have shown time and time again a reluctance to fight wars |
Guest chapter 25 . 11/7/2018 Extermination is the answer for the Batarian question because any other answer and the commissar will BLAM* |
Nate chapter 24 . 11/2/2018 Great until this shit. Now its just another shitfic. |
Thewhitewolfofchange chapter 15 . 10/1/2018 a dreadnaughts main cannon isn't nearly powerful enough to trigger a super volcano |
Thewhitewolfofchange chapter 2 . 10/1/2018 I could easily see this version of humanity go full on Interim Coalition of Governance the Batarians are basically like the Qax |
Anderfail chapter 24 . 5/10/2018 You gave the Alliance two technologies it didn't have during the war and then took them away by having them sign it away in a peace treaty? I don't think you understand how cease-fires have worked in the past. That isn't give and take, that is literally giving up a fundamental function of human civilization. It isn't just dumb on the part of the humans to sign such a document, it's outright suicidal. The story took a steep nosedive in this chapter with the sheer depth of humanity's idiocy. It feels like you only did this solely so that the Mass Effect games could play out in an identical manner. Horrible decision and absolutely immersion killing. |
Anderfail chapter 20 . 5/10/2018 Slaves are endemic to Batarian civilization. I don't say it too often, but there is basically no such thing as an innocent Batarian. So long as you casually support the use of slavery, you are not an innocent. There is no justification that can make you not an innocent because you do not have the option of claiming ignorance. It does not matter if you have never seen a human slave, you have certainly seen slaves from other species, which means that you are no different. The only innocents here are maybe the colony worlds of other species. |
