I'd love to see the explanation for 'body part soup' and how Eliot met Moody. Great job!

Now I have to admit the first two times I saw this movie I somehow missed that Christian was in it (I'd say bad Kane fan but I'm gonna give myself some slack since both times I watched in the wee hours of the morning half asleep)
Anyway now I proudly own it and can nearly recite it!
When I first saw this and the fact that it was a death fic I rechecked those blue letters to see if I was indeed reading one of your fics.. yup I was...
That being known I spoiled the story for myself cause as I read of Eliot's death I couldn't help but giggle with the mere thought that, this is posie... not even for a fraction of a second- not even for story's sake could I believe you actually killed him
So sentence by sentence I deviously questioned 'Is he coming back yet?'... and just as my brain was starting to rationalize that maybe he wasn't coming back that devious voice told it to shut up and not two sentences later look who shows!
I shouted told you so to no one at all.. LOL
Loved the story and it was a nice touch giving the baby a family name...
Ever think of adding to this verse? (Any thoughts... I might have to bury a few!)
Awesome job despite the fact I spoiled it for myself... lol

What I loved about Second Hand Lions was the way that Hub kept Garth alive, physically, throughout their youths. But with the death of Jasmine, it becomes Garth keeping Hub alive through his grief.
| Mary B. Wolf chapter 4 . 7/16/2012
D'awwwww! The family fluffiness is such a good note to end the story, especially given the overall lightheartedness (after that little scare at the beginning there). Now I kind of want to see some more Coleman family/Leverage Inc. interaction.
Also Hardison and Jasmine were so cute.
| Mary B. Wolf chapter 3 . 7/16/2012
The mustache! Ahhh. I just *could* *not* take the man seriously in that movie with that damn lip ferret. I laughed like crazy every time I saw it. But I adore the movie and I love Leverage and I am seriously diggin' the crossover. Funny and sweet and *of* *course* Parker would refuse to believe he was dead, because, of all things, Eliot *is* Batman version 2.0. Oh yus he is.
Thanks for sharing! Now I'm off to read chapter four.
| FreakyLeo88 chapter 4 . 3/9/2012
So I started reading this story somewhat around in the middle of the afternoon. I had to stop reading after chapter 3 'cause I had dance practice. (Seeing that I'm one of the instructors I had to get there on time. No delaying because of this great story.) Anyway. At some point during the second group I had to start laughing because somehow my thoughts drifted to Eliot saying 'Dad! Make her stop!'. It happened more often during the evening than I like to admit. Random giggling because of fanfic! YAY!
Anywho... Obviously I finished with chapter 4 and yay! for the whole naming the kid after some family.
Oh and before I forget: You killed Eliot! Meh! Even if it was for two chapters.
I still loved this story.
Oh and you so made me want to watch 'Secondhand Lions'.

Wow, this was just beautiful!
Just so you know, I decided to make your stories a priority on my reading list, 'cause you're just that cool ;)
So yeah, I did love Secondhand Lions as a movie. I really only watched it in the first place for Christian Kane but I actually loved the story and everything. The idea that Eliot could be Walter's son Hub, named after the Hub that Christian played, its just a perfect idea, and I love that somebody wrote it. I particularly love that it was you!
You created this wonderful family for Eliot/Hub, and Walter sounded just right somehow. I was picturing an aged Josh Lucas and it just worked out in my head. Jasmine, Garth, Savannah, and the kids... naming the baby after Eliot, it was all so perfect.
I'm soooo glad that Eliot wasn't really dead. As great as the story is it would have a dark, black undertone if he really was gone. Parker seemed pretty certain he had lived through the explosion, and then when Jasmine agreed, well, I had to side with those smart ladies and it seems I was right to do so.
Seriously, you did such a wonderful job with this, I can't wait to read the other story in the 'verse and then I need to get back to the MacDonald-verse, 'cause I peeked at a couple of those but I want to start from the beginning again and leave you more reviews on how wonderful your writing is... and later, I owe you a PM! lol
Anyway, love this. Gonna be smiling for a good while thinking over what I've just read. You're a marvel :)

This is very fun - and fortuitous, as I just re-watched the movie yesterday. Eliot's will was perfect. Great melding of the two verses. Thanks for sharing!

OMGOSH This is Amazing, PLEASE do more of this crossover! You got them dead on and I loved that you included the Shiek's great grandson. I would love to see more in this universe crossover either in flashback oneshots or other things.
| MavenAlysse chapter 4 . 8/3/2011
This was a terrific story. (I liked 'Second-hand Lions' and have recently been introduced to 'Leverage' Love 'Em!)
Thank you for sharing!

Such an awesome story! I love how you melded the two, and with all the names. It was great fun!
| VolceVoice chapter 4 . 7/15/2011
This . . . is awesome.
I love the death date plates and the in-jokes, and Moody. And Sophie's reaction. And the porn 'stache. And "Pulling a Tom Sawyer."
You took a great idea and made it even better. And now I want to read the backstories, please!

Yay! Eliot jr.! Overall a good story and I loved how the ending was done, even id it was cheesy. Glad to see you get it up so quick. Made my day.
