   Z-Zen1 chapter 6 . 6/24 Holy shit, this is amazing! I thought there might be a lot of focus on pranking and comedy, but this went hard on the mythological aspects in a way that didn't put me off and it actually went all the way through the end of shippuden. We love Sasuke being a good person. We love Sakura not being sidelined. We love Rasengans. |

Basically Madara (who had only really died a while later at that point) had some Mist-nin capture Rin, seal the 3 tails in her and set it up so she blows up with the force of a 3-tailed-biju-powered bomb. During the fight to try and recover Rin, she threw herself in the path of Kakashi's Chidori so she wouldn't blow up her home. Obito was watching, about to come in and help (he basically had a white zetsu life support thing going on) and both Kakashi and Obito got the Mangekyo in their respective eye |
