Re-reading this years later, and I can't help but wish this was actually the direction the show took. Kudos for making me feel the feels all these years later.

I'm glad Stefan found Katherine, and finally convinced her. They deserve a happily ever after.
I'm sure she had him turn her eventually. On purpose, or by accident. I tend to lean toward the purposeful. The promise of Forever is alluring.

And Stefan will go find his happiness, and his balance! I am so glad Delena are making promises to one another. And Elena is even considering eternity, with Damon. And I'm glad hey promised it wouldn't be easy. Because, they are messy, complicated, consumed be the love they have for each other, but, they are right for each other. And they will always survive, and come back to each other!

Damon better decide to stay! After all the hell this girl has been through, she deserves to be able to enjoy Damon. They deserve a shot at being a happy couple.
Stefan also deserves to be happy. I hope Katherine will open her heart to Stefan.

Why are Katherine and Damon trying to leave? They need to quit being so insecure. Elena and Stefan are done. And Stefan is back on animal blood. They are so presumptuous. Both convinced that Stefan and Elena will go back together. And Damon because he thinks he'll ruin things. Why can't they just give life a shot. Let the chips fall where they may, this time they may just lie perfectly.

Ding dong, two Originals are dead. (I'm glad that in your story killing the Original, didn't kill the Sireline!) I hoped, ad really kinda thought that Damon would not be the sacrifice. Especially after Elena confessed her love for him.

Why can't they use Mia's death as the sacrifice? Doesn't the sight where a witch dies violent death stain the spot on the earth with power? Can't Bonnie channel that? Elena and Damon are finally clear to have a life together. Is she in transition? Someone else needs to be the sacrifice. What about the two power blasts? Nooo!

Don't let Damon do anything stupid! Someone tell him she drank Caroline's blood! That even if she died, she'd come back! Bonnie, Elijah, anyone. And don't allow him to sacrifice himself!

Dammit! This is all wrong! Why, why would Elena and Damon die for Katherine? I know the want to kill Klaus. But, one touch made the chapter name apt! "We're so screwed".

What a predicament! How could Bonnie not have known Stefan and Elena broke up? He and Katherine have been hanging all over each other!
