Nice fanfic on its own, but...
1) I would greatly appreciate if it would say "part one of incomplete (and abandoned) series" in the beginning, and not marked as completed. This is false advertising.
2) Having the connection to two powerful ancient rulers of another race in your back pocket should influence the narrative more. So far it's reiteration of canon but with "what if he had pony tulpa along".
For starters, his curse scar should have been closer inspected. And he should've been relocated from Dursleys. After he formed connections in magical world, discovered his inheritance in the vault and have had alicorns advising him, there is no reason for him to return to them after Year One. I see no reason why he should even return, besides "the headmaster of my school said so".
Also, pony princess is highly educated politician. No way she won't utilize the fame of a Boy Who Lived to help him more.
I liked how he heard about Sirius Black much earlier, this is one of those things where he could've changed the narrative drastically by using his pony advisors. Sadly, nothing came out of it.

This seems to be continuing in spirit of canon reiteration with pony magical plushie tagging along. Not exactly what I expected, Luna is more wise and experienced than that.
And on the side note, thanks for not sticking him to Ronald Weasley, I despise that guy.

This would fall under Deputy Headmistress demesne at least!
Not to mention that Harry is genuine V.I.P. so no supervision over his upbringing makes no sense. This is why so many fics have Dumbdumb as either senile fool, well meaning control freak or outright evil scheming bastard. There is basically no reasonable explanation outside these three possibilities.
And the fact how Hagrid chucked the legendary magical artifact in the table after carrying it around the world the whole day only strengthen these claims. Either it was extremely dangerous and a stupid thing to risk, or he was a bait with fake in pocket and guards tailing him.
Frak me sideways, pastel ponies make more sense than potter wizarding world.
