I liked this one, where Charles and Erik meet in the middle

What I love most about this story is that it's a Charles-centric. It actually FOCUSES on him, his ideals, his character, his changes, and every twist and turn in his point of view.
I love this. Charles is by far my favourite character, and he doesn't get enough credit as the world's best telepath. Most stories have him dumbed down, a flat character, or/and a standby. Sometimes he's just a conniving, cunning manipulative man (which, now that I think about it, reminds me of Dumbledore from Harry Potter) and I wish authors went more into his humanity, mistakes and feelings like you have.
This is a brilliant story. Charles grows in his character, he's more jaded, realistic, and yet it's not OOC. It's Charles Xavier. Pacifistic. Idealistic. But a pure BAMF when he needs to be.

PS: Favourite line has got to be when Emma projects: "Oh, Mr Xavier, so long as you persist calling yourself a telepath, the rest of us are merely very intuitive." I couldn't stop grinning.

That was long and wonderful, a bit angsty but a I'm never out for a fix-it. Loved it!

Oh man. I liked this story lots and then I got to the end and you topped it off with the best abuse of that painfully cheesy line I've ever seen. Good job. It's kind of a fascinating look at people dealing with death and loss at the same time as it is a really fun/dramatic take on the story.

I loved everything about this story, but the part that really got to me was when Erik was telling Charles how he had tried to leave, but couldn't stay away. That whole conversation was simply heartbreaking.

This is going on my favorites.
