Once again well done. Crossfire is almost as interesting as his brother Blaze, but he is a little more complex. Oh and I realized that I made a mistake in one of my reviews. I said that you had the second best fight Sonic vs. Metal Sonic fight that I had ever seen, but the fight that I was thinking of was a Sonic vs. Metal Shadow. So your story, officially, has the best Sonic vs. Metal Sonic fight that I have ever seen.

I really like Crossfire's chapters, for some reason. Everything's so... tense, and you just know that something's going to give, sooner or later. And, the "clouding" he describes is a bit scary...

I'll be blunt with you: I've not a single criticism to offer. The chapter was flawless, bar it's being short. Though that's not necessarily a bad thing, I feel myself searching for errors, and failing miserably. Your portrayal of Sonic's thoughts as he sprints through the fields was unparalleled. I offer you my congratulations, as you've earned the genuine fascination of another reviewer. Again, superb intellect, creativity, and talent resonates from each word... It's beautiful. Not only well written, the climax building up perfectly, but you also made it longer than a page, and it felt just the right length. For once I can't complain at all at the length, it's longer than most chapters and at the same time just feels perfect.

I'm so happy! This chapter coincides with some of my more recent thoughts... I just finished "Shadow the Hedgehog" (the video game) and I've been thinking pretty hard about him lately...

I don't know if I've said this before, but I'm really impressed with how you pull off the first-person views of all the different characters. For example, even if there weren't any names mentioned, the style of writing for this chapter is so vastly different from the last one that nobody could ever have an excuse to not know that this is Shadow and the last one was Sonic. XD Does that make sense? Anyway, I'm very impressed.

The story's almost done! I can't believe it! I'll be waiting patiently for the next chapter!

No! Only a few chapters to go? No, no, no! Aw well it was fun while it lasted. Well looking at what's left of this story, and comparing it to the storie's summary I no longer think that there will be any timetraveling. I'll guess something right one of these days. Wow. THis honestly is the bast fic I've read on this site! It's just...amazing! Really, it is. This chapter was great! Hopin' to find out more about Sonic's past & stuff in future chapters!

Ooh. A long one. And a good one too. I just saw the Sonic Movie and now it makes sense. I loved this chapter, kept me on the edge of my seat and everything. Keep this going. I haven't lost interest yet!

The entire chapter characterized Sonic perfectly, as if it were coming straight from his thoughts into my mind... which it was. XD They teach you in school not to use run-on sentences, but in this case they fit the mood perfectly. (Sorry for using the word "perfectly" so much!)

This chapter addressed something that I think more people should think about; Sonic's views on the past and on Metal's and Shadow's deaths. In Shadow's case, we don't really know what happened out there in space, but we can assume that Sonic may have an "I could've done something, at least" attitude about it, the same way he felt with Metal. Your description of his thoughts matches my opinion exactly... it was very interesting to see Sonic dealing with it, too.

Terrific chapter, and I'm waiting for more!
