| NoilyPrat chapter 1 . 11/25/2014
Wow, good story, adding another special kid into the mix.
Really sorry how she ended up, no one and nothing, bleak, despair. Sad.
| sapphireswimming chapter 1 . 4/25/2013
Oh my word. When she tore into Dean and used every self-loathing guilt-trap he had in the deep parts of his brain against him, saying things that he never wanted to admit, things that took away his ability to do anything for a moment, that was such a powerful powerful moment. And then I love how Sam took over and told her to stop and tried to protect Dean however he could from that point on. Wow, it was great.

| Rosetta Brunestud chapter 1 . 8/27/2011
I like it, especially the ending. Sam is so well characterized here Pretty good
| ziggy.uk chapter 1 . 8/2/2011
Enjoyed this. Not a happy fic but it showed the brotherly bond. And sad that Teresa killed herself, but it was probably for the best, knowing what went on to happen with the other special kids.
| AZGirl chapter 1 . 7/29/2011
Sort of figured this one wouldn't have a happy ending... It was great to read a season 2 story!
| JazzyIrish chapter 1 . 7/28/2011
Sad story about another "special" kid. :( It's sad that she killed herself, but maybe in the long run, it was for the best since we know how the alternative turned out.
Season 2 still remains my favorite - the brother bond has never been the same since. They each care so much for one another and it shows in all that they do. I liked how Sam stepped in when Teresa was calling out Dean's fears and concerns.
Thanks for sharing this with us. Until next time...
| CeCe Away chapter 1 . 7/26/2011
Empathy eyes~how I love that. So much hopelessness in this one, and we all know it's going to get worse.
| ccase13 chapter 1 . 7/26/2011
Such a sad story.
I always feel so badly for Sam's yearmates that they couldn't save. Sam was the only one the Yellow eyed Demon sent to Cold Oak who survived and many of the others didn't even get that far.
At least Andy didn't do anything bad and would not have gone to Hell. If you're not traditional Catholic, killing yourself to avoid becoming something evil ought to get you into Heaven as a sacrifice for good.

Great stuff. Been a while since I've thought about Ava and the other kids. Ah, the old days...
| skag trendy chapter 1 . 7/25/2011
This is a nice little missing episode. I always thought they could have done a few more plots with 'special kids' and this would have been perfect
| Nana56 chapter 1 . 7/25/2011
It was a very tough time in a lifetime of tough times...for both of them. Of course, that's why we watch and read. ;p
That poor girl, tho. I'm with Sam; I don't know why the YED sent her to him in the first place unless to mess with them. Something else to make Sam helpless. Oh! That's it! To make Sam feel like there was no choice for him and he'd give up. :D
Good one, my dear. :)
| Madebyme chapter 1 . 7/25/2011
This was a neatly written fic that slotted perfectly into canon and the Azazel's special children storyline.
I've always wondered how many more of the special kids there were, we know that Ava fought her way through a lot of other groups at Cold Oak but were they all from other generations? I liked how you played on this idea with Teresa, who like many characters on the show wasn't completely black and white, evil or good. She was messed up, confused and alone.
I loved Sam's reaction too, desperate to save someone and hopefully himself, you really captured his season 2 personality. And I thought the part with Dean not liking being protected by Sam was spot on.
A sad fic but as with all your writing, the brothers and their relationship shone through. Take care, Abbi
| Ciya chapter 1 . 7/24/2011
Aw Sam, you can't help someone if they don't want the help. She wanted definative answers, she wanted the YED to be something else, she didn't even try to go on and she didn't have a big brother/sister like Dean.
