I like it, but there are a few things I don't understand.

Why is Marine worry about their goons (or whatever you want to call them) abandoning them if they found out that he and his family are meta-humans? I mean wouldn't they be afraid of crossing people with super-powers (I know I would)? On the other hand, did he just mean in that particular situation, because their goons might assume he and his sister can take care of everything themselves?

Isn't Starfire pretty much immune to all heat and radiations (she pretty much said so in the episode "Snowblind")? If so, then how is it she died that way?

You set the tone well. And if Nightwing is anything like the Bat, I can expect that Light will get all his bones broken and some light-based torture for this.
