Interesting story line! I feel sorry for Wagner: his career is going along and then all of a sudden he gets put in the looney bin for the 'crazy' tale of a underground escape operation. And now he wants to defect. Too funny for words!

Poor Wagner. Hochstetter setting him up as the fall guy! At least he "shot him while escaping" to let him get away. The life of an undercover operative sure is rough on Wagner.

I like how you integrate Teppel into the story so smoothly. He would definitely have been an extremely valuable asset in the war. He is, after all, a major in Abwehr, in a position to gather an enormous amount of intelligence. Throw in Hochstetter, the Heroes, Nimrod and Wagner, and Germany's practically crawling with Allied spies! ;)

Poor Wagner. Thrown into Stalag 13 again. Interesting idea to have Hochstetter a member of MI6 and a working with Teppel to protect Hogan's operation. Loved how that was woven into the episode. I loved Hogan's expression in Klink's office when he first looked at Wagner and then Hochstetter. I think Hogan knows he'll probably see Wagner again. I can't wait for the poor guy to finally be able to stay at his nice, safe, boring desk job.

Poor Wagner is thrust into an undercover mission not of his doing ~now back at stalag 13 our Unsung Heroe's plan partially works and the rest of the plan fails ~now Captain Herber must go; Klink stays vital to Hogans opperation.~as Hogan left he really glanced at Captian and knew that in the end ~he'll be seeing him soon!Really enjoying the many faces of Wagner cannot wait to see who comes up chapter and a fun read!

Ah - the Unsung Hero puts in an appearance, with a plot as devious and convoluted as anything Hogan could ever devise. And a guest spot for another familiar deep-cover agent.

Sorry it has taken so long to read this. The RW has been KRA-Z! Wonderful beginning. I'm thinking that it is not going to go smoothly at all. Is Wagner lying? I wouldn't put it past him.

Glad to see you've continued the adventures of our favorite defector! I snorted with laughter over the "deer in the headlights" line, and then laughed even harder at the first name (initial really) you came up with for his cover. A sly and brilliant joke! Also Hogan's line was hilarious also: "and we're going to get him safely out of Germany. Again." But the guys are underrating Wagner's abilities, if he managed to stay undercover without getting caught all that time! Oh, and a nice little love story too.

Beautifully done chapter~I thoroughly enjoyed that once again Wagner is being shipped off to germany yet again for another assignment~this time he does fall in love~still with the device and information he gathered and he needed to returned a proverbial penny (Wagner) aka Maj Lutz is being tossed back on Hogan's doorstep but they are unaware of that fact until he arrives~Hogan committed to this mission will follow through as again for a wonderful installment ~I'll be anxious to see the next chapter,
