I think you have Murtagh pegged. One on one he was not too bad in social situations. And this is one on one with a girl he is helping. It would be normal to start feeling something for her... to start liking her... {as a friend or wherever}

Is this going to interfere with the Eragon meeting? Just wondering...

Hey :) Would I be wrong in thinking that I was one of those reviewers with questions? On the bright side, I see no plot holes in this chapter and you have cleared up the ones that I had asked about. :):) Don't have her learning to read too quickly though. You would undo all the good work you have already done to make this story seem realistic.

You have {in my opinion} captured Murtagh perfectly. I am really really intrigued with the story. I am not usually in the habit of anticipating OC pairings, but Lianne is so far from being a sue that I am in utter favor of it.

Just one question about leaving no trail behind her- someone is going to find the bodies of the dead soldiers and trace them back to their commander. There will have been someone who sent the soldiers on this mission, so by killing them is she really hiding her tracks?

Hey :) This sounds really promising but there is one thing I am confused about. In the prologue you said that the daughter grew up not knowing what she was capable of but in this chapter you hint that she knows of her elemental powers. Does she know she is an Elemental?
