Okay this was awesome. I loved the entire Loki-cat idea from the beginning, but the completely misunderstood conversation between Thor and Tony had my actually laughing out loud. Pepper's and Steven's comments in the end made it even better. This is hilarious! I love how naturally cat-like Loki's behaviour feels - all cats act like spited royalty, right?
And the late-night cuddle scene (sans nightmares) felt incredibly cute.

This is giving me a headache. Just by proximity with those two...

I've come across this cyclic interpretation of the Norse myths before. As far as I can tell, it is made up, but it's logical in a way; there's so MUCH history, and so many versions. And there's Loki gutted with snake venom dripping his eyes and Loki and Thor bantering fairly friendly with the former in drag, seemingly without too much order. Plus all the modern stories and marvel. For all that the interpretation is dreadfully sad, it is quite logical.
