Dean forgot his anger with Sam just as soon as Sammy needed him.

My brother in law (a cop) got bitten by a black widow while we were all in Las Vegas for my wedding. I've never seen somebody so ill without it being followed by death in my life. My sister took him to the hospital and he stayed there for days. So this wa actually pretty close to how bad those things get. Poor Sammy. I felt so bad for him. I'm not even going to ask how Bobby got ahold of the Morphine! Who cares as long as it worked right. I'm glad that Dean came around too Those boys are so dang stubborn!

I felt sorry for Sam as he was so sick after getting bit by the spider.

You did a great job of capturing the tension between the brothers at the start of the second season, though I love how you had Dean respond when he was informed his brother was ill. Dean did a great job of taking care of Sam.

I liked it! The spider part freaked me out though. I hate spiders so much. Of course the brotherly shmoop was adorable. It was a good fic with lots of detail & everyone in character & it ended well too in only the one entry~!

Aw! Very sweet one-shot, hon. I really enjoyed all the angst, and I felt so bad for them both, but particularly Sam for doubting that his brother actually loved him. Great ending. Simple, to the pointm with lots of unspoken communication.

Oh I really enjoyed this and you a did a great job with the prompt!

I think the time line you chose was perfect, Sam's illness due to the spider bite bringing them together at a difficult time when they're both grieving and drifting away from each other.

I loved all the details about the cramps and fever and of course Dean's care giving was an extra helping of yummy!
