| ziggy.uk chapter 1 . 8/13/2011 Great story. Loved that it was set at the start of Season 2 when both boys were grieving for their dad. Only Sam could get a spider bite whilst helping Bobby sort out his basement and can understand why he didn't want to go to hospital. Loved how Sam being sick from the spider bite immediately put Dean back in caring big brother mode, taking care of his little brother. And perfect ending, them both asleep in the sitting room with the TV on in the background! |

Growing up in the southwest U.S., where black widows are as common as Smiths and Joneses, from babyhood it was ingrained in me to never, ever, EVER put your hand anyplace you can't see. And to this day I still literally can't. I never even imagined what a bite would be like. So thanks for the vivid picture! No really, I enjoyed it very much. Hope Sammy learned from this experience: "Don't touch it unless you're eyeballing it." |
