Wonderful story! Thank you.
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 1 . 10/18/2015
The sharing of a kiss. How nice. Still, onto the matrimony, and above all else, a crossover that will make Mary and Lou in-laws to Vinton and Naomi of "MAMA'S FAMILY" could prove highly interesting. LOL! Besides, their (Vinton and Naomi's) nephew Bubba would make a good younger man and older woman pairing with Iola from across the street.
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 2 . 10/18/2015
Chapter's pretty good. Still, keep in mind, the thought of crossovers. For example, if Mary and Lou were to ever visit Peekskill, and The Eastland Academy, well, Natalie may as well be in preparation for a spot as a WJM-TV news anchor in place of Ted Baxter down the line. LOL! Besides, Blair would be lucky enough to become a daughter-in-law to Radar O'Reilly of the 4077TH.
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 3 . 10/18/2015
Wowsers! What a neat chapter. Far out! Groovy! So even if a good crossover allowing for Mary and Lou Grant to become in-laws to Reba and Brock Hart via Kyra marrying Mary and Lou's son is not what one has in mind, well, how about if their son wound up with a Ukrainian bride instead? At least, it something to think about.
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 4 . 10/18/2015
So far so good. However, seeing Lou Grant as a Freemason, or as a Shriner for that matter could also be good for laughs. Besides, giving both Mary and Lou a son would also help, but after matrimony, naturally.
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 5 . 10/18/2015
Great chapter. Sounds interesting so far. Ofcourse, try thinking crossover once in a while. One good thought that comes to mind is having Mary and Lou go on a lil' ol' Mayberry visit.
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 6 . 10/18/2015
So nice to read story of this sort. However, a good crossover that sends Lou and Mary to Georgia, leads to a stranding in Hazzard County, and bunking with the Dukes. LOL!
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 7 . 10/18/2015
Oh, Mary will achieve the goal alright, with Lou as a husband for her. However, bringing up crossovers is a good thing, too. For example, instead of covering a teachers' strike, suppose that the workers of a Minneapolis factory owned by Philip Drummond go on strike, and it's up to Drummond himself to come from New York to Minneapolis to help with negotiations, and settle the strike, bringing with him his daughter Kimberly, and adopted sons Willis and Arnold. LOL!

Nice chapter so far. However, a nice crossover may be overdue. For example, just after Lou's divorce, he goes to a journalists convention in San Francisco, accompanied by Mary of all people, and when a fellow journalist dies mysteriously, Lou is fingered as being the culprit. So brings in Ironside to investigate the case. Naturally, along with his very own team of Eve Whitfield, Fran Belding, Ed Brown, and Mark Sanger, he also calls on Lt. Mike Stone and Inspectors Steve Keller and Harry Callahan to help out. Meanwhile, has then retained the services of Perry Mason for Lou's defense as well as Paul Drake, Jim Rockford, Matt Houston, Frank Cannon, Harry Orwell, Colt Seavers, Joe Mannix, and Barnaby Jones to help in finding the real culprits. Even, with good friends, Jonathan and Jennifer Hart conducting their own investigation into the case, Ironside calls on Hogan, Carter, Newkirk, LeBeau, Kenchlow, Klink, and Schultz to help out as well as just as Mary retains both the Simon brothers, and Magnum to help as well. Even the NYPD'S own Peter B. Clifford, Chief-Of-Detectives, sends in none other than Deputy Marshal Sam McCloud of Taos, New Mexico, on a special type temporary assignment to NYPD, to Ironside with the case as a favor to an old navy buddy. Eventually, the San Francisco D.A. calls upon both Ted Baxter and Sue Ann Nivens to testify as a witnesses against Lou while Carl Kolchak helps his good old pal Lou Grant keep up hope. Then, Lou's own blood-related and despised first cousin, Captain Rutherford T. Grant of S.C.A.T. (Special Crimes Action Team) decides to remove the case from Ironside's handling because of the bad blood between both Lou and Rutherford. Now, the situation gets desperate as Mary makes a plea to the police commissioner of San Francisco. However, thanks to very extremely friendly persuasion from his wife Sally, SFPD Commissioner Stewart "Mac" McMillan decides to warn Rutherford to lay off because Lou as well as Mary know of just how, and truly prejudicial Rutherford is to Lou, in spite of their being first cousins. As a tiny precaution, Ironside then summons Bay City detectives Dave Starsky and Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson to help out as well as Lt. Eddie Ryker and his rookies of S.C.P.D. in San Clemente, followed by the WJM-TV station owner calling in a favor from his friend Charlie Townsend who sends in his associates John Bosley, The Munroe Sisters (Jill & Kris), Sabrina Duncan, Kelly Garrett, Julie Rogers, and Tiffany Wells to help with the investigation, too. By now, even Mary is so worried over having Lou serve a prison term on a homicide charge, she rings up former college friend Julie March, and has Ben Matlock called to San Francisco to help Mason defend Lou in Court. When Mary's own favorite cousin Fran gets word of what's going on in the city by the Golden Gate, Fran calls on her ex-husband Sgt. T.J. Hooker to lend a hand to the case. So when the real culprit is found, in a fortified hideout, Mary decides to then calls in Rutherford's worst nightmare, Lou and hers' family friend, truck driver B.J. McKay when they storm the hideout as part of a distraction to allow for Hondo Harrellson to lead a S.W.A.T. raid from the rear. LOL! Eventually, a confession from the real culprit leads to Lou being cleared of the charges, and above all else, safely heading back to Minneapolis with Mary. Just think about it.

Joe treating Lou to a basketball game? Sounds odd. So, unless a sloppy journalist named Oscar Madison happens to cover the game for his newspaper, well, it could prove most odd to leave him out. LOL! Plus, add 12TH Precinct detectives Fish and Harris seated next to Lou and Joe, well, let's say after the game, Joe treats Lou to a beer at Kelcy's in Queens before the ownership transfers over to Archie Bunker. LOL! Naturally, Oscar stops in at Kelcy's as well for a tall, cold beer. Even, Fish and Harris have a few rounds of Rheingold for good measure.
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 10 . 10/18/2015
Anyone can envision Mary Richards as the bride of Lou Grant. Ofcourse, keep Lou as a clean-shaven guy, and send Mary's brunette tresses to her hips or thighs, more or less. LOL! Still, with the possibilities of Mary having relatives in Milwaukee would be a good basis for a good crossover of "THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW", "B.J. & THE BEAR", and even "HAPPY DAYS" as well as "LAVERNE & SHIRLEY".
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 11 . 10/18/2015
Groovy chapter so far. However, imagine a nice crossover in which Lou Grant is out to settle an old score with his first cousin Captain Rutherford T. Grant of S.C.A.T., and finds out about all of his cousin's illegal no good type activities ranging from the narcotics running to Rutherford's silent partnership in Trans-Cal Trucking Company? A crossover of such would easily expose the bad blood between Lou and Rutherford, let alone teaming up Lou with owner-operator B.J. McKay, and make for interesting reading, too. Keep the good work, and let us the readers know when the crossover will be ready.
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 12 . 10/18/2015
Groovy chapter so far. I guess it's a build up to "MARY MARRIES LOU", huh? If so, keep up the good work. Besides, are any chances of a crossover involving Mary, Lou, Murray, Rhoda, Phyllis, Sue Ann, Georgette, and Ted getting to meet Reba a possibility? Just give it thought at the present.
| ADDAMSFAMILYTREE chapter 13 . 10/18/2015
Marvelous! Now, all someone needs to try is a title such as, "LOU VERSUS S.C.A.T."?!
S.C.A.T. is the acronym for Special Crimes Action Team, which is headed by Lou's own first cousin Captain Rutherford T. Grant. Sounding interesting so far? Well, to begin with Cousin Rutherford is filled with political ambitions, and greed. Naturally, those qualities, and his being a police captain, made him the greatest enemy encountered by B.J. McKay during what was the 3RD, and final season of "B.J. & THE BEAR", which therefore makes for a good crossover between both "THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW" & "B.J. & THE BEAR", of all shows.

Hooray! That was lovely. I enjoyed it a ton.
