Wonderful writing! Love this fanfic!

The best sound of music fanfic I've read! It's beautifully written, complete and very believable. The story is so detailed and true to the characters that I could actually imagine julie andrews and Christopher plummer playing the scenes.

Beautiful story

What a beautiful ending to yet another amazing story.
Somehow, by covering the territory you did with this story, it managed to be both engagement and honeymoon and still completely unique and fresh.

The lights have impeccable timing, but their comments on it were very amusing, and I love the idea that Maria would go retrieve their clothes and stop to pray. The way she affirmed that he saved her just as much as she saved him was wonderful, and finishing with that beautiful song.

It was so beautiful; how obvious his love for her is, from telling her she's perfect to running the bath for her. I love that she asked him to stay, and washing each other and noticing the scars. It was rather interesting how Maria didn't even realise she had them, and Georg's response when she broke down was perfect.

The way she told him he had all of her, and then how he repeated it back to her, and then stood by the fire was beautiful. The nerves and the trust were both shown perfectly.
And such a hot, yet loving ending.

Talk about setting the mood.
Love the way you wrote the scene in the bathroom, showing everything she's worried about and how she dealt with it. I loved the sense of mystery about which nightgown she chose, because I feel like with the way it was written, each option was equally valid.
And the question to her captain, the final way she gathered her confidence was brilliant.

Love their teasing in the beginning, and the way he helped her with her dress and the dancing in the restaurant - simple, but oh so powerful.

LRaLB is such a beautiful one-shot and nringing it up here was a great way to show not only how much they love each other, but how much respect they have for each other as well. Georg's line about how his engagement with Elsa would never have worked, even if Maria hadn't been in the picture, was a great, unique touch.
