Reviews for Balance |

![]() ![]() ![]() I really really believe my fan theory that Zuko was supposed to be the Avatar by time it got to him. I really think that the whole cycle should have come back to fire by time he was born and Aang and Sozin just through the whole thing off. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It says alot about how unique and special a fanfic is, that you've read once, but you still remember years later. And now I've found it again. Thank you for this amazing work. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Found it! Finally found it again! I've read this amazing story years ago |
![]() ![]() Omg it is PERFECT. Finally someone actually talking about Zuko in the right way and noticing how well structured he is |
![]() ![]() ![]() Huh this explains Sokka's relationship with Zuko so much better than the vague anime friendship |
![]() ![]() wow... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Es una descripción impresionante y acertada, justo lo que es Zuko. Me alegro de leer esto. |
![]() ![]() ![]() *sobs* this is probably the best ATLA fanfic I've ever read. It explains Zuko so well and oh my gosh I AM IN LOVE |
![]() ![]() this is absolutely incredible |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really loved this- I always thought that Aang wasn't really 'balanced' in a way with him sticking to his nomadic culture and going-with-the-flow kinda attitude (which really, like you said makes sense cuz he was the last Airbender) but you really depicted Zuko in the way that I thought of but couldn't properly but into words! Also, the fact that this is in Sokka's perspective is great, because I always thought he was the most perceptive and street-smart out of the group. basically, I loved this one-shot! Thanks for writing it :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() You know, I've had this fic in my favorites for a looooong time now. Several years now in fact. I completely forgot about it until I was scrolling through my fave stories list on here (I am mostly on AO3, but decided on a whim to check my FF faces). I think you are absolutely right: Zuko really does embody balance even better than the Avatar sometimes. Aang balances the elements, Zuko balances just general ways of life. I really liked how you wrote this from Sokka's POV-it gives a good perspective on the way Zuko behaves and acts. Great fic! I enjoyed re-reading this even almost a decade later. ElReyCiervo |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, you really made me look at Zuko in a different way. I mean, I always liked the character, but I never saw him as having such balance, but Sokka makes a good argument for it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was my exact train of thought after watching the show for the first time. It was put into words so well, and I applaud you for that |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was awesome. Thank you so much for writing and sharing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Grear story. Zuko is the easiest to identify with since he has been through pretty much everything since he was banished. Through his travels and hardships (even before he was banished) he has grown the most from the Gaang and evolved from a child who didn't know how to behave properly to the man who peacefully ruled his nation after the war. It is also great to see this through Sokka's point of view, who is close to Zuko's age and has also matured through the series. |
