Good lord, it's been a long time since I've read something so refreshing. I found your story in my favorites and didn't remember much about it and read it again (apparently I've already reviewed chapter 6) ... I'm definitely in love with your style. It was very wordy in a good way and I actually learned some new things. You capture emotion with your writing and weave it around until I don't know what to feel anymore.
Seeing as it's been two years since this was updated, I doubt a new chapter is likely, but I'll throw my lot in with the rest and say please update! :)

Oh. Enjoying this very much, but i see you haven't updated in a year. Fear it's discontinued... But i enjoy both their characters, the banter, the thinking and feeling they're both doing, the fact that really they're so alike in what they think, they just don't know it. Overanalysing and yet also accepting to themselves they just *feel* something, unrational though it may be - and seeing beauty in that despite the existential crises that they have going on...

I've figured it out.
It's love. I'm in love with this story.
Now that I have confessed, my love is ever patient for a response in the form of another chapter. Update when you can, when your muse descends upon you. No pressure whatsoever. :)

These past few chapters have been an emotional whirlwind, and I've been left at its wake, completely shocked.

When I first started this story, I wasn't expecting anything like this at all. The banter between Loki and Darcy seemed somewhat lighthearted at times. But when the the point of existence and the self awareness came in, everything just blew my mind. It was, in essence, just complete and utter brilliance.

The way you've characterized Loki and Darcy and the way they stand by their conscience and the separation (and sometimes lack of separation) between inhuman and human was just... Gorgeous. I think that's the only word I can say for it. Their verbal fight was just impressive to read. When the title of the story came into play (syllogisms are such an interesting topic on their own), I just knew this story was going to reach high places.

I don't review often, because there aren't many stories that get me as excited and emotionally attached as I am right now with your plot, characters, and narrative style. I just absolutely love your story thus far.

A very healthy, wordy fic; Ive been enjoying the dialog. I look forward to seeing this story progress and seeing these two characters who can barely tolerate each other grow into a romantic relationship.
To be clear, Eric is an ass...and he was convinced that Darcy wont stay more then a day, however that moron Tickler acted as though she had replaced him in his job. Is that the case? Also, more Loki laughing would be nice. It was a rather refreshing moment. If we can get Darcy to force feed him and make it humorous, like he accepts it, in a petulant child sort of way...oh, that would be hilarious. Of course, no vomiting, Loki. Gross.

Love it and can't wait for the next update :)!
