I rarely leave reviews, but as I've read Against the Moon three times since I discovered it last year I think a review is deserved. This is by far the best Harry Potter fanfic I've read, probably the best fic I've read period. Reading this has been as wonderful as reading the original series and I'd like to thank you for providing that kind of excitement. The mauraders are wonderfully characterized and the OCs feel natural, like they're really part of the series. That being said, I am desperately curious to know how AtM is going to progress, so I hope this story hasn't been abandoned. I know life and motivation can get in the way, and I hope your health has improved since the last few authors notes. ATM is truly amazing and I hope to see more from you soon!

Wow. That was my initial response after I binge-read this fanfic. I wanted to leave you a review after every chapter but I decided to save all this for the end. You are an amazing writer. You wrote Remus brilliantly and had me laughing and crying along with him. I miss him already and it's been like two minutes. And Sirius and James were wonderful too, their characters were perfect to canon. And Peter though kinder than I imagined was excellent to read about. I love the Marudars, and I miss them immensely. So please, please, please continue writing! This story is just too amazing to be abandoned here. And I'm not sure if abandonment was your intention but it's been so long that I'm starting to get worried. I don't want to be rude but it is a very awful thing I think to end this fic here. You have 1,547 Favs and 1,510 Followers, me included. Please don't leave us all hanging!

Third time through this fic; this continues to be one of the most genuinely amusing and *real* moments in literature, I swear to Merlin. It also just feels so true to the relationship between the three of them, which JKR honestly leaves mostly to our imagination. I have no hesitation believing that this interaction is 100% canon.

Kinda silly to write a review over a handful of lines of text, but I for real just love the ridiculous fondness between them SO MUCH.

I spent the better part of the last two weeks re-reading this story, and I’m back to being nearly crazed with curiosity about what happens next and had to drop a note to that effect. I really do hope that after the inspired Deep Space 9 plot bunny has run itself exhausted you come back to this gem, because I just love it. So. Much., and I’m dying to know what happens. It feels so much like canon, and I don’t think there’s been more than one or two very minor times when I thought “nah, I don’t think that’s how it would have gone.” - which is just crazy, because I have Opinions on how things would have gone. To be honest, despite my long time desire for J.K. to write a marauders prequel, I’m not really sure I care that much if she ever does, because I don’t know that she could do better than this.

On the plus side, now that I’m done I can return my full attention to what’s happing in Julian’s life instead of falling multiple chapters behind!

I haven’t really reviewed on this site before so I’m not sure if you can respond and tell me if you will continue or not, but I do hope you’d see this and that the story will go on! It’s just delightful. I think you’ve really nailed the characters, and all their little nuances so much better than really any other story I’ve read (and I have read more than my fair share of fan fiction!). Well done!

I thought this was a lovely chapter. It had some good suspense to it, which is something I love with Remus. It’s very easy for him to assume the worst is going to happen!

Also, I just wanted to say that you’ve put so much effort into this story that I applaud you for it. Great job.
