It's always delightful to see another batch of updates on this fic! I honestly think you have some of the best marauder's characterization of any work in the fandom, as well as some of the best OCs. I don't still check updates on a lot of fics, when I started reading this I was in high school and I had a lot more free time than I do now that I'm in grad school, but I keep coming back to this fic to see if you've updated. It always brings a grin to my face to see that you've released more chapters. I hope you're well, and I'll be looking forward to the next update.

With Sirius's comment about enterprising gentleman and more romantic places to woo his lady love, and all the other snippets from before - him teaching James what one isn't supposed to do when one's girlfriend is 'dripping' and how he'd dump Malfoy too if he were Narcissa, etc - I just realised something. Sirius has pretty high standards when it comes to dating/romance. Huh. Who'd have thought.

In this chapter Remus mentioned that he didn't have his wand to call the Knight Bus, but in the previous chapter Sirius said that Grimmauld Place was guarded so that no one without a want could come through the door. So how did Remus get in?

Lovely story, by the way! This is my fifth time reading it! (I know that's a little insane but it's just SO good!)

I am in awe. What an amazing story! This reads like canon, and as far as I’m concerned, it is canon. You’ve captured the Marauders exactly how I think they should be. I loved how you wrote them discovering Remus’s “furry little problem.” I found their reactions far more realistic than most fan interpretations, and it was cool seeing Peter coming around.
Every so often, my jaw dropped when I realized how something you wrote tied into the later canon of the Harry Potter books.
I have no words. This is fabulous. I will always look at the full moon differently.

Great chapter! I like that you showed the kind of strengths and expertise that Peter has. It’s a nice piece of character development that really rounds out his character. Plus, it’s nice to see Remus being able to power his guard more with his friends.

It's fascinating, you know, how good you are at this, Stoplight. I mean, we all know how it ends - Lucius and Narcissa marry and have a kid. But somehow, despite this foreknowledge, you manage to make their separation tense. I had to keep reminding myself that this match would go through, and that it wasn't permanent. And I loved it. You're wonderful at pacing and tension. :)

What's the meaning of Sirius' interest in the Zodiac Killer? Does he see echoes of his own parents' amusements, or those of "the zealot from Croydon"?

This was my favorite chapter so far. The fact that you've stayed dedicated to this fic for so many years is stunning, and I hope that you have published a book by now because your writing is extraordinary. I find that not a lot of people write Madam Pomfrey as being caring and stern and you do it so marvelously. If writing is your dream I hope you pursue because you are phenomenal.

Whew! After a marathon few weeks of gluing my eyes to my computer screen, I've finally gorged myself on all 134 chapters of this masterpiece. I just wanted to pop in to say: you are fabulous, these characters are fabulous, and I care more about this story than sanity should allow. I have also talked about this story non-stop to my Harry Potter friends and family, who are planning on checking it out as well if only to shut me up.
