I know this story is abandoned but i still had to say I'm really enjoying it. This is how dumbledore should have been written.

I don't usually read a/n's. Too many use them as a crutch to fit things into our awareness, without actually writing the story properly.
I see this doesn't say 'complete', and I'm still a few chapters from the end, so I don't know how or why. I hope you didn't allow idiots to influence your writing with the things they say.
The story is well written and really, really good! I haven't looked yet, to see if or what else you have written. I hope there's more.

A facial scar is deemed acceptable identification? Worst! Security! Ever! I'd have removed my entire fortune from Gringotts immediately.

Other than that, it is technically well written, if a little cliche. The characters are more than just 2-dimensional caricatures. I'll grade it EE.

You mentioned in an A/N that some reviewers gave you grief due to the over-the-top style of your story. And you countered that all of Harry Potter was over-the-top. I agree and I congratulate you on a story very well written. The central aspect that makes this such a good story is it's believability, particularly with regard to the context of the wider world reality. Your story was not just a narrowly focussed wizarding story but one that included the inevitable collisions with the rest of reality. Those are a bigger challenge to do well than just a wizard story. Very well done. Thank you very much.
