Reviews for The Prisoner's Cipher |

![]() ![]() ![]() Oh good Lord! This is a magnificent piece of writing. The number of favourites on this story is abnormally low and I'm furious on your behalf. A reddit thread brought me here and never have I been more glad. Before you continue reading this review, I'll have to warn it contains SPOILERS, so STOP RIGHT HERE. The build-up of Harry's memories truly shook me. And I was so astounded by the use of Runes to sketch a person's soul. Incredible. It oddly reminded me of Westworld where the essence of the guests are written into a book. It was stunning and I deeply admire your flair for writing what usually remains so stubbornly indescribable. Harry sacrificing his own life at the end made so much sense. He knew it was time to rest and he wouldn't truly be at peace with himself after what his past self did. Anyway, thank you for this. ️️️ |
![]() ![]() ![]() If you ever write a book, i will certainly read it. This was without a doubt the best fanfiction I ever read be it Harry Potter or any other fandom. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is turning in to a bunch of nonsense rambling.i hope the rest of it isnt as mind numbingly boring |
![]() ![]() ![]() I guess it was obvious that this couldn't have a happy ending, but this was weird. So was Harry motivated to repair his soul before committing suicide? That is the only explanation I can come up with for what happened. This is an example of why I don't like to start reading a fic until it is complete. 4 years to get 9 chapters for a story like this would have been a brutal experience. Anyways, it was creative and the story telling was good. Thank you for sharing your creativity. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Harry the comic book supervillain? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Harry died? If he wanted to die in the ebd then why he tore Hermione 's soul... He could hve died just like that... Or let Albus kill him... I don't understand |
![]() ![]() ![]() 10/10 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well shit! An absorbing well constructed story, but ultimately unsatisfying. On so many levels! I'm afraid I'm unable to put to words the exact feeling I feel for this story; let's just leave it that I'm disappointed in the ending, although logically, there was little else you could do. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hmmm, I suppose the ending was inevitable given the crimes Harry committed and the inability to reconcile when his soul returned, but honestly if he was just going to kill himself and knew it when he made the ruins, the whole point of the story seems defeated. He could have accomplished the same without scaring Hermione's soul. One can argue it was the chaos, but chaos is random while this whole venture was filled with structure, its antithesis. This is not intended to detract from your story, merely an idiosyncrasy that popped into my mind at the end. Anyway, its an excellent story delving into the soul with the Harry Potter universe. I greatly enjoyed the structure and execution with the many delightful scenes that added to the strife of the timeline and thus showing us this new Harry Potter rather than telling us. Amazing work, brindani |
![]() ![]() ![]() wow intense but extremely well written! |
![]() ![]() ![]() oh fascinating! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Holy shit. That ending is amazing. I must really commend you on that Albus and Harry confrontation. It truly was something else. love the work |
![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, this had to be the best chapter so far. Incredibly complex fic. You've taken the plot somewhere I didn't think you would. Your theory is amazing and I'm so glad I came across this fic |
![]() ![]() ![]() very interesting story |
![]() ![]() Yeap, puré and simple crap and more crap. Stupid compilation of stupidity. |
