Your work is always so effective, and I've enjoyed it since I discovered Shifting Sands years ago. I recently stumbled onto your page here and found some stories I don't recall reading previously. As expected, I've enjoyed them all, but this one really stands out. It's beautifully crafted and very effective at drawing the reader gently through the discovery of the piece's dark premise. Just overall very lovely, well done.
