| LeonaWriter chapter 1 . 2/25
I love how this story ties in the Blue Exorcist worldview with that of the Bible, which they should be familiar with. I don't know how, but it seemed kind of heartwarming, this way of seeing things, too.
| Meluna 1.0 chapter 1 . 1/7
Cool story! Will there be a sequel? (It could be awesome!)

I know that scripture you refer to very well, and also support the Bible's definition of demon's being fallen angles so this makes a lot of sense. I have often thought that, while Rin has been called a demon many times, he doesn't really fit my definition of demon, since he wasn't part of the rebellion, and thus, didn't actually fall from heaven. I'm not sure if you ever saw the second Ghost Rider movie, but it makes me think of how, *spoilers* when the Rider being had been restored to it's original condition as an Spirit of Justice, the flames were blue. In fact, the summary on Wikipedia has this line in it. "As the film closes, the Rider, now covered in angelic blue flames, rides off on his motorcycle, saying 'My name is Johnny Blaze. I'm the Ghost Rider'." *spoilers* While I don't know, it would make sense that angels would have a similar form. The form of demons may just be twisted by their corruption. Also, what connection to this story does the scripture at the end of the story have?

This was incredibly thought provoking. I absolutely loved this. You really thought this through.
| BiblioMatsuri chapter 1 . 8/13/2013
...Rin has pulled off purifying flames before (Impure King arc), but those were because he had help, right?
| MyDark-Sunshine chapter 1 . 5/28/2013
This leaves us with a very strange question, indeed. Awesome story! :))
| katsekala chapter 1 . 4/21/2013
Sweet! Many kisses!
| sparklybutterfly42 chapter 1 . 2/17/2013
oooooh! this is really good!
also, angels could very well have tails. in fact, the bible describes them really crazy, and they don't sound humanoid. maybe they have lots of tails!
| wildface97 chapter 1 . 1/12/2013
Wow, quit being a brainiac missy, you're logic is over-working my brain to mush XD
I was "aww"ing at this. The when I saw the "Do angels have tails" I proceeded to cackle like a hyena.
| honey-vanilla11 chapter 1 . 12/3/2012
what a wonderful perspective and after reading chapter 32 of the manga i just can't help but think that this is just so plausible! i mean with ucchusma saying, "demon, angel..." are just names that were given by humans to their kind and then saying that rin is a human clad in "holy" flames. oooh this was just so perfect! *thumbs up*
| Love Psycho chapter 1 . 10/19/2012
Now that...is interesting. Could be, could be...true.
As for the angels have tails...well, in the Hellboy verse at least, Angels look like Demons. Just...prettier. Very pretty. (And Rin is cute and pretty you have to admit...)
And it certainly fits my view of Rin (and probably everyone else's): I get the impression that if they could SEE they would see him looking much like an Avenging Angel.
-hands over platter- Magic cake for you!
PS: I just watched the vid. It IS awesome.
| Yuu3 chapter 1 . 9/14/2012
My friend! With the somewhat same idea. XD i do hope you still remembered me.
In my mind, the answer for whether angels have tails or not is a yes. For Rin's case. Cause you know the idea I thought of.
| Night's Flower chapter 1 . 8/26/2012
Never ever thought of this! O_O
Awesome, i will now forever think of Rin as a fallen angel
| ichiruzuka chapter 1 . 8/16/2012
I had once heard that story. story of a depraved angel named Lucifer. once, Lucifer was the one God loved most. but Lucifer waked His wrath, and so Lucifer is banished from the Heaven. Lucifer wandered through, until he chose to become Demon. he chose to become a Demon Lord, Satan.
my grandpa, who told me that story, asked: "Why Lucifer choose to become a demon, Satan?"
I was a ten years old that time, so I can't answer. but now I think the answer is because Lucifer had lost his hope. when one lost hope, even angel, one will be capable to become evil.
or so I think.
I don't know either, why angels, in this case, Rin, have tails. I do have an answer, will it be true or false.
the Japanese don't really have religion, they just choose something by tradition and the benefits. I guess the author doesn't really know the Lucifer-become-Satan story, perhaps? if I think that way, it explains your question.
| XxAlysxX chapter 1 . 7/17/2012
Of course Angels have tails, what's more holy than a tail? All joking aside a pretty cool story.
