| ccase13 chapter 1 . 9/6/2011
Poor Dean seemed so desolate when he couldn't remember Sam and thought he was all alone in the world. Without Sam his life was so dark he couldn't remember what a good friend Bobby was. Sam was the same way when Dean was in hell.
Sam was lucky the couple noticed his hurt feet and acted with kindness. A lot of people would react with anger and/or fear if they came upon a big buff guy naked in the woods.

Oh what a refreshing and inspired premise! It's nice to see a good old fashioned mothw case which plays on the boys and their relationship so effectively.
I liked how we jumped straight into the thick of it from Dean's POV, leaving the readers curious and intrigued as to what's happened as you slowly teased out the back story.
The humour was great, it felt very reminiscent of the show in one of the lighter episodes and I really enjoyed that. Plus all those warm brotherly moments were such a treat.
This was highly enjoyable, thanks so much for sharing! Take care, Abbi

As Sam said, if Dean can, he will come for him. Every time. Good story.
| Nana56 chapter 1 . 9/5/2011
Awesome! Just completely awesome! Sam was missing, but Dean didn't know it because he didn't remember he had a brother! Wow! Amazing fic! Love the idea.
I was wondering that it let them off and they were going to leave? But nope. Hunters coming to deal with the little (&$%$. Good! :D
Nicely done! :)
| Ciya chapter 1 . 9/5/2011
This would make an excellent episode - although naked Sam would have to be changed so it would be allowed to air. Great story!
| Kyshal chapter 1 . 9/5/2011
I loved this :) An interesting senario, some lovely hurt!sam, some bad ass Dean, and a good bit of humor :D Especially loved:
"Or something happened to him and he has that STD."
"PTSD," Mark corrected his wife. "She means PTSD," he quickly repeated to Dean.
| AZGirl chapter 1 . 9/5/2011
Enjoyed reading this! Only Dean could feel so guilty for forgetting Sam due to magical interference... I loved that Sam was so understanding and basically glossed right over it.
| skag trendy chapter 1 . 9/5/2011
With everything these two have faced, I would imagine this had to be the most frightening prospect of all: losing your brother to a magical being. The chances of getting him back would have been pretty slim so its a good thing Sam is as smart as he is.
Love the whole concept of this, but most of all I loved the brotherly schmoop!
| spnMom chapter 1 . 9/5/2011
Wonderful story, but kind of scary too... I can't imagine forgetting the ones who are closest to you. Thanks for posting.
| Landwing chapter 1 . 9/4/2011
Wow. To not even remember you have somebody that's supposed to be with you... Sometimes I'm insanely glad these things happen to adult Sam and Dean. They've had time and experience to help them survive things and know they can rely on each other, magic-induced amnesia not withstanding. If this kind of thing had happened when they were still kids and Dean forgot that he had a little brother he was supposed to watch out for, odds are good Sam might not have been able to trek back to find help. And wouldn't that be fun when John got to hear about it. So, a bad experience, but it could've ended a lot worse.

Ahh JUST what I needed! I loved it! (This is JustShyOfMe btw, changed it recently)
Anyway, awesome job! I needed something sweet and brotherly to read after this hellish day. Thanks for making it just a bit better. :)
You always incorporate such interesting critters in your stories and this one was entirely creative. Stealing Sam, making Dean forget. Devious little monster. I also loved that this was set in season 2. So props for that :)
Cant wait for next Sunday's treat!
| zekeschance chapter 1 . 9/4/2011
Great story! Very different. I had to laugh at the std reference! Too funny! And the Hi and Lois? Loved that cartoon. Only Dean would think of that. Thoroughly enjoyed this! Thanks!
| sylia91 chapter 1 . 9/4/2011
I love how many supernatural beings grudgingly admire and even envy the brothers' dedication to each other even more than their hunting prowess. Also loved Sam's absolute certainty that Dean was looking for him. The picture of smaller Dean standing guard in front of gigantor Sam always makes me smile. Ticked off mother bear that he is protecting his young.
| Hunnique chapter 1 . 9/4/2011
excellente histoire avec de merveilleuses perles, comme cette phrase:
Pants were a lost cause altogether, and Sam had a plaid blanket wrapped around his waist instead, like some forlorn Scotsman. Quelle image aussi drôle que parfaite!
Merci ma belle.
| irismay42 chapter 1 . 9/4/2011
Wow, forgetting Sam would be an ultimate sin in Dean's book!
Loved the way he got between Sam and the Erlking. Totally Dean behaviour!
