I can see how Kensi would identify with Melissa, but Kensi shouldn't let this cloud her judgment on her relationship with Marty. I bet that phone call was from Callen about Marty. How will Kensi react?

I'm glad Libby is talking sense to Marty. Evidently, Jim Weiss tried to take a stand, and the bad guys got to him through his daughter. Pretty emotional chapter.

So Laura has finally made an appearance. I'm ready to read more.

This chapter was full of good emotion - nice to see everyone and how they interact with each other on a case.

I know Marty and Sam don't talk a lot, but it was nice to see the easy interaction between them.

So Jim Weiss died. I hope Marty can pull through this.

No wonder Marty's feeling so conflicted. It sounds like Jim Weiss just made some bad decisions, but now he's trying to make things right.

It's amazing Marty is as kindhearted as he is after being beaten as a child. Good thing Weiss was there to stop Deeks from killing his father.

Callen and Sam need to call Marty to let him know that James Weiss is the target.

So who's the target? Is it Marty Deeks or another member of their team?
