I've fallen hopelessly in love with this story, and it's all your fault.

As each chapter builds upon the previous, gradually developing this completely plausible relationship you're constructing, I find myself coming closer and closer to nearly flailing around and knocking over my laptop as I read. Whenever Artemis would manage to hold Wally's gaze, my toes curled with anticipation. I held my breath. The lovely little fairy tale you included and the way it was used to comfort Wally had me smiling so wide. And when Mrs. West walked in to see them in each other's arms, I actually squeeeee'd a bit. I think it's safe to say that I've become a fangirl for your writing.

Oh, also, YOU ARE SUCH A TEASE. They were SOOOOOOOOO CLOSE to finally kissing, and I'm becoming desperate for this moment. There is only one romantic piece of fiction that I've ever read that was able to create such a beautiful love story without mentioning any kissing scenes, and that's Pride & Prejudice. You, however, might have created a rare exception for me with this.

Oh my gosh, this is beautiful. :D

I was over here giggling like an idiot when you updated, /and/ this chapter is dedicated to me (and the victims of the Coloarado shooting - very kind of you, by the way)! But by the time I started reading, I was actually tearing up a little. Everything was so sweet and so true and I can really relate to Wally. I said and felt a lot of the same things he did. And even though /everything/ wasn't relatable...

I'm still really glad that Jay woke up. :) But then, was there ever any doubt?

The Spitfire was gorgeous, as usual. It was insanely sweet for Wally to confide in Artemis, and for Artemis to run through the snow so she could comfort Wally. I love how it continues to build up and I honestly can't wait until the moment of truth, aka The Kiss, is upon us. I still remember how you said it wouldn't be "traditional." ;D

As usual, this story continues to brighten my mood whenever I read it. This heartwarming chapter was very soothing for me and has cheered me up considerably. Surprise, surprise. Thank you again. So, so much.

Aw, that was really heartfelt. I really like how, this time, it was Artemis who literally came to Wally's rescue. The whole "zeta-beaming-to-Central-City-plan" thing was really well written and adorable and it was a nice change to see the girl comforting the guy and acting like some sort of a warrior princess instead of the guy acting like the knight in shining armor. (Not that Wally isn't. He totally could be haha.) Those two really are cute though *sigh* The Phoenix story was a nice touch too, by the way. And the fact that Wally and Artemis had a sleepover made me giggle, especially when Mrs. West walked in on them xD

This chapter was so good and I loved the story about the boy and witch, it was beautifully written. You did an excellent job with this chapter. I loved it. I can't wait till your next chapter. I am really really looking forward to it.

I don't know whether I'm already a mess from thinking about the Aurora tragedy or what, but... So many feels! :3 I'll admit that I almost cried. It's great that Jay is better, too! :)

Jncera! I think I love you. You make one of the best fanfics Spitfire. This chapter was perfect. So cute that I hardly stand upright. I loved it.

Okay this is kind of short and crappy because it's late and in general everyone of these chapters all I can really say is akaskfhkhgshaslkhslkhgaklh - or something really repetitive and boring - BUT ANYWAY.

God the way you have developed the relationship between Wally and Artemis to this point, where she's the one he calls when he's upset, and she goes over to his house in the middle of the night just to make him feel better - such a far cry from how they began - it's amazing. Truly amazing. AND SHE TELLS HIM A FAIRYTALE - wow - just - that is so gorgeous and such an original idea. It's wonderful!

And, might I add, the fairytale itself (which I'm assuming you made up, seeing as I've read almost every original fairytale there is and don't recognize this one), is lovely. And it also ties to and show little hints of parallels to both Wally and Artemis' lives, which is great.

(I need to find more words to express how wonderful something is that aren't 'great', 'amazing', 'lovely', 'gorgeous', 'wonderful' or anything like that - because, man I'm feeling hopelessly repetitive when it comes to review these - THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR WRITING IS SO AMAZING - maybe I should start making up words to express them - yeah, maybe that'll work)

ANYWAYS - this is another beautiful chapter (and I'm so glad Jay came out okay :3 ), and I definitely cannot wait for the next one with the zoo! (or really, all of the story)

I couldn’t wait until you got to the Christmas chapter! (Really, I needed to see Christmas/Holiday shenanigans with these kids *cries over what could have been*) This chapter had the same feel as chapter nine did (maybe because they are both centred around holidays and families, duh Annica!), and I loved the whole team having their own party for Christmas and *sob* why did this never happen in canon?

Also – Zatanna. Zatanna, Zatanna, Zatanna, you devious little thing XD And Wally’s family poking fun at him is perfect.

And oh, YOU TEASE. Mistletoe and everything and we only get an on-the-cheek kiss (and a forehead one later one, but that not the point, the point is YOU TEASE).

(Can you tell that these reviews have all been written in a row as they’re getting progressively worse?)

Wally’s poem was genius, and the whole Christmas story-telling tradition is really, really sweet and gave a lovely atmosphere and beautiful setup to Artemis falling asleep on Wally and him taking her to bed. There’s just something really, really wonderful about the whole team sitting around in front of a fireplace on Christmas eve sharing the reading of The Nutcracker and Artemis falling asleep on Wally and just - *sigh*.

And he redeemed his points for her present! *sighs again*

*actually just continues to sigh for the whole ending of the chapter*
