I like how Derek Powers was the bad guy, and the bat-fam getting along is awesome. I really liked reading this fic.
| Rose Midnight Moonlight Black chapter 8 . 12/29/2011
Awwww, this is just so fantastic, all the boys together, safe and cuddling. Yes even Stephanie, because she WAS a Robin. If the Joker goes depressed over Her Robin Death then confirmation, this girl was a Robin who needs her Brothers as much as those Brothers need her! So well, written!
| kari chapter 9 . 12/3/2011
aww, this story was so cute. I love your bat-family moments. They're the best )

Thought it was just a month or two
People sometimes forget Tim is really really smart so thanks and cool
That always got me Bats won't put the Joker down but he convinces ordinary thugs he'd kill them, I mean I know most criminals are stupid but really noone thinks about this and again what I've said about some of it being worse than killing
The Joker has killed over two thousand people, he once gassed an entier kindergarten class, took out an entire boy scout troop with poisoned cotton candy, say you’re Harry Truman do you drop the bombs or do you drown the home islands in the blood of U.S. Marines, BATMAN has no answer to that question, people hire soldiers so they never have to use moral courage themselves, yes there is a hierarchy of evil and I don't want them to slit the throats of every single thug they come across if only because it could be an undercover cop just doing his or her job, (you do that you stop being a hero and become Frank Castle) but some do need to be put down which is not to say some can't put their minds and/or other talents to good use as a force of good which is an idea I like with the more competent villains though not the psycho kill for fun freaks though there are some exceptions
Well, yeah but Cain is not an average thug he's the man who taught Bruce to plan for everything, he is lethal and smart a threat both physically and mentally so thanks for saying he escaped
It got me thinking of Deathstroke he left his sword as proof he could kill him whenever he wants after Bats was distracted for like a second after incapacitating him which he only did because he had the help of his sidekicks, I like to think of the Wilsons as bigger and badder than the Batclan, but heroes or at least antiheroes not villains, Rose be Adeline's kid also as well as Jericho and Grant and Wintergreen their Alfred, Adeline was Slade's first Special Forces instructor and Slade could also have Rex the Wonderdog or an equally powerful wolf named Tarot

Well, it's kind of complex No Man's Land Luthor is supposed to have rebuilt the city more modern, effective, and effiecent but lost the Gothic and gargoyles and stuff, before Gotham had the worst infrastructure and institutions, but that architecture is such a part of Gotham mythology
Ironically Luthor is the reason Metropolis has such a high standard of living his inventions and leadership got it out of near fatal poverty
Well I remember Cain smiling and hugging Cassandra when she reassembled a gun, it was obvious he was was very proud of her, but these are guys and I don;t like touchy feely much either
| Rose Midnight Moonlight Black chapter 6 . 10/16/2011
Wow, this is amazing! You've got the right level of buiness vs family vs viginlant in the Bats! Okay, so maybe Bruce wouldn't have spent the whole night at Tim's bedside but there would have been a camera on his all times. But... where Robin IV? Stephanie is a lovely mother figure to Damian, the affectionate sister he needs sometimes? You soooooo need to bring her in!
AND I love the us of Derek Power from BB
| ViltrumiteKing chapter 3 . 10/16/2011
I'm enjoying the story. You've got some minor typing errors, but it's still easy to understand what you mean. For example: someone puts their arm around Damian, but you left out the word 'around.' Next, while, like I said earlier,I enjoy the story, there are no descriptions...of anything! there's no sense of setting,or mood, or tone. I'd like to know what the Batcave smells like, what time of day it is, how is the cave lit, are their shadows, how do the people move, like dancers, like fighters, like acrobats? I wanna know what Powers looks like, is his suit from Brooks Brothers or Brioni, how does his cologne smell? Sensory details. On the plus side, I do like how you get in and out of scenes quickly and the story is very active with it being mostly action and dialogue. Also, I'm not really up to date on my Batman comics, so the interaction of all the Robins is new to me. Do they really all think of and refer to each other as brothers? I haven't even read a story with Damian in it before. Well, keep up the good work!
| ViltrumiteKing chapter 1 . 10/16/2011
Powers from Batman Beyond...nice.
| anon chapter 6 . 10/15/2011
Some of that is worse than killing though I think that also extends to maiming, and with his skillset does he really need the fear against common thugs and those who have the ability to challenge him mentally and physically aren't superstitious or cowardly I know in real life it's merchandising and that's where the real money is and it's a business and they have a bottom line
| anon chapter 6 . 10/14/2011
Cool Jason doesn’t want to live off Bruce or have an office job
That was cool with Damian wanted to spend time with his friend Colin
Manipulation and deception and then Jason said all those people talk like that and said it just proves Damian is intelligent awesome
Cloister like the NYC museum, nothing wrong with it, but I think Dick owns that circus now so it felt just a tiny bit off to me, while he may not want to be a cop anymore some kind of PI, but now that I think that’s even more off
Think I like Stephanie and Tim best, but I DO like Tam also
Well, Tim’s parents were very proud of him
It was a little too touchy feely for me but I get it he's ten
Well, you forget about the limousine liberals, but that might be because Bruce actually does give a lot to charity proving you can do it without being forced, although forced charity isn’t charity
Yeah, Alfred may not be in the rest of the Batclan’s league and old, but he was British SAS MI6 I think he was a field medic
Cain’s so good at what he does there is no evidence anywhere linking him to any of his crimes
Got thinking if not Lian, than perhaps Sin, who was supposed to be the next Shiva
| anon chapter 3 . 9/23/2011
Well, language Damian was raised to be a prince, a warrior king of a new dark age, trained by the masters of the League of Assassins, you know the guys who Bruce went to teach him to fight especially David Cain, who also taught him to plan for absolutely everything
Men like David don't see the world in terms of right and wrong but strong and weak he made Cassandra strong so to some extent he's a decent human being he does love her very much
I should elaborate about Cadmus and Waller, I don’t think there is anything wrong with wanting accountability form Superheroes, having checks and balances on these living breathing weapons of mass destruction seems quite reasonable to me, one will go left when they should go right and innocent people will die it WILL happen, granted I don't want them to use fascist methods to do it but there HAS to be some reasonable middle ground
| Matchet Hatchet chapter 2 . 9/15/2011
You're doing a fine job, especially in keeping everyone's personalities the way that they should be. (I'm the World's Largest Hypocrite in that way.)
| anon chapter 2 . 9/15/2011
Damian built the flying batmobile which gave Bruce himself trouble and didn't he go off on his father's board of directors after he found a mistake in the paperwork of something
I will always prefer villains who at least have a point and frighteningly may even be right about everyone being better off under their benevolent dictatorship (of course make education great so the common man does know what is best for him and his children's children and democratic republicanism can work) like Ra's al Ghul if the environment isn't brought into balance no matter the means or cost the future for the human race will be worse than any dystopian fiction and will lead to the extinction of the human race not through misadventure but suicide through stupidity or Lex Luthor who as he says if he was calling all the shots could end famine and cure cancer and he could his mind is capable of anything perhaps give everyone ultra high-tech non polluting technology and maybe even superpowers (without the White Martians ancient experiments all humanity would be like the Kryptonians or Daxamites) lead humanity and the rest of the universe to unimaginable glory remember Red Son he united all humanity and led us to a golden age that lasted millions of years, no poverty, disease, war, crime, terrorism, or environmental problems and science and art advance, he’s about the advancement of the human race by any means necessary it’s not that he’s a good man he’s not but he’s right about most things he’s too smart not to be
A lot of villains seem unaware that if they used their mind and/or other talents for legitimate business causes or the government could be far more profitable than any crime spree
Luthor has fanatical Nietzschean beliefs, that Superman undermines humanity’s worth and accomplishments
Of course vigilantes can be sanctimonious hypocrites judging others and letting themselves go unscrutinized condemning others when they do the same thing for less reasons I think it is disgusting they don't share their scientific breakthroughs (of course inventors should be well compensated) with the scientific specifically medical community or their skills with law enforcement agencies far more good than beating up thugs and psychos fight crime at its source ignorance and poverty. I realize due to rarity and complexity mass production may not always be possible or at least cost effective and due to difficulty not all could take brutal training but a little bit could go a very, very long way. A hero doesn’t just save people a hero teaches the people to take care of themselves. The ability to think of future generations when calculating pragmatic utilitarianism is what separates us from the animals. The world is not the way it is because of thugs and psychopaths, corrupt businessmen/politicians (which contrary to fiction are the exception not the rule) but because most people are too stupid to know what is best for them the extreme left and extreme right get caught up in their ideals and refuse to acknowledge brutal facts of reality no real world understanding of the extreme complexities of politics, economics, technological logistics, and how they’re all interconnected in the long run. People want everything right here right now the whole world just handed to them on a silver platter think just by complaining something will happen without a tangible plan. Such a plan will require a lot of long, hard, boring work all day every day for generations.
There will always be some exploitation, the best and brightest will elevate themselves over the common man, it’s nature, best for the species, it improves the standard of living of the human race as a whole, as long as they don’t kill anyone or otherwise actively oppress, free trade and enterprise is the only thing that has ever led to long lasting meaningful peace
I'm glad the government has Suicide Squad, Cadmus, Checkmate, the Elite, Amanda Waller, and the new female Spy Smasher, Cameron Chase
Have you heard of The Boys
| Matchet Hatchet chapter 1 . 9/11/2011
This is a fairly good start to a potentially great story, and I can't wait to see if you nurture that potential.
