Oh my pea-(throws up)

I don't usually read M/M ships but this fic handled it very maturely and was very well written, unlike most slashfics. For most of it it had me guessing who Pokey was going to pick and Pokey was very well developed, unlike a lot of fics there wasn't any homophobia themes and it's nice to see one that focus on the M/M aspect like it was a hetero shipping fic, very nicely done and a joy to read

I have to say, this is one of the most original stories, not to mention ships, that I have encountered so far. Well done for taking two very under-appreciated background male characters, and putting them together successfully. Five stars for sure.

Oh and by the way, when I found out you were also the author of The Colour You Bleed, I was surprised, but when I compared your two stories, I realised that the stunning originality was a match, and it made perfect sense. You may just be my favourite fan writer ever, not just for MLP. Favourite fan writer !

I have scene this story play out in real life (admittedly without the ponies) and you did a fantastic job of writing it. This is a great story. Its a pity there aren't more like it in the fandom. I will never look at these background characters the same, and I mean that in the best way possible.

Why isn't there more of this in this fandom. I admit to having a great deal of predisposition towards slash, but this... this is just so beautiful.

A very well written story! There isn't enough gay shipping in this fandom if you ask me, and seeing some is always a treat. Seeing some is even more of a treat when the characters are so well written and the diologue is so believable. The only part that was a little jarring to me was right at the moment Pokey comes to terms with himself, which I think could have benefited from more description beyond just the conversation he was having. That's quite minor though, and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future!
