| keht.jelicho chapter 1 . 12/8/2023 the "falsely claimed noble title" bit reminded me of an interesting factoid I learned several years ago: that is that under Scottish law any landowner in Scotland can claim/use the title of Laird aka lord. there was even a thing in which people were taking advantage of that fact and making money by starting businesses where you could buy a single square foot portion of land (or something to that extent, I forget the specific details) over the internet and thus could proclaim yourself a Scottish Laird. No baring on your story just still amused by that and felt like sharing since your story reminded me and thus amused me again |
