It works well enough as a parody, though I'll admit much of the humor is lost on me. Being raised "non-magical" I'm sure ol' Tom would have no problem dealing with the government (that Imperius Curse is a real bitc-ha, especially for them poor non-magicals who have no hope of resisting it at all). Like I said, I get it, but inability to ignore little things like that kind of undercuts the humor. I do have to wonder, though, about why you insist on making Hermione and Luna friends, or even friendly. The only person Hermione shows even less patients for (without being in open conflict with them) is Fleur. Guess it's nice to have all Harry's friends being friendly with each other, but realistically you sometime just have to accept that your friends won't always like each other. Oh well, thanks for trying (and being daring with the format).

Excellent story! I enjoyed the collection of odd little sources and their sequence. Superbly done!

The way this story was written was pure genius. It doesn't hurt that I it also has one of my favorite pairings of all time, Luna/Harry. I adore that pairing. I'm not sure where you got the idea for the format of the story, but I loved it. It made the story feel more real and grounded, despite the fact that it is set in a magical world. And the fact that Tommy Boy was killed by snorcacks was absolutely priceless. Thank you for writing and posting this. It is absolutely brilliant.

What an interesting way to tell a story! Never really saw anyone actually pull it off. I agree with you that HarryxLuna is incredibly sweet, a very amusing couple. Loved the odd bits with Dumbledore's private diary. Congrats on the good story.

This is really something special, Arpad Hrunta. I liked how everything was conveyed via letters, transcriptions, etc. This must have taken hours and hours to plan, research, and set out - and I greatly admire what you have achieved!

It's not perfect: there are some spelling errors. Gabrielle's letter to Harry has 'your' instead of 'you' (intentional, since English is not her first language?), and other reviewers have picked up on the 'heard of Snorkacks'; and I would've added a love letter from Luna to Harry. Also, Harry and friends could've made their gratitude to Gabrielle clear (give that girl a big prize for what she set into motion!). I was surprised to read about Fudge receiving the Dementor's Kiss - and wish that Umbridge's receiving of the Kiss was actually vividly described in a newspaper article within the story. It would compensate for her not being seen to get her just desserts within the actual books and films.

But Dumbledore's reaction to Harry's summons to see the Queen, and the means of Harry killing Riddle were hilarious - as was the banner of 'Wizards battle in Scotland. Nessie safe'.

Very well done. Into my favourites this story goes.
