| Lucillia chapter 1 . 9/23/2013
Damn. Talk about fridge horror. They were alive, all of them, and...
| Telera1701 chapter 1 . 12/24/2012
I can actually see him trying something of the like eventually (and eventually going back to having real companions, of course). Nicely done
| dogbertcarroll chapter 1 . 7/26/2012
It's a pretty cool idea.
| Zarohk Korobase chapter 1 . 4/9/2012
Wow! Seems eerily accurate to the Doctor's character and how he would act if he had a moment to think about how to go about choosing a companion (or making one in this case). Absolutely love it!
| Zankaru Zelladonii chapter 1 . 1/12/2012
| Mizuki1988 chapter 1 . 12/10/2011
Ooooh... this was... Dark, but poignant, kind of beautiful, and cynical, and so, so sad... Loved it.
| hossluver chapter 1 . 11/27/2011
Well, I will say that it was written very well. Good job.
I also must say that I am now going to go into a corner, curl up in a ball and hide for the rest of my life.
| Majin Hentai X chapter 1 . 9/19/2011
8th Doctor right? Driven to this by the time war and xenocide and genocide of the daleks and Time Lords because this is one of the most un Doctor things that could ever be done.
| Andrew Joshua Talon chapter 1 . 9/18/2011
Well, that's different. Dark, disturbing, creative... Yep, it's one of yours.
| Kimberly T chapter 1 . 9/18/2011
-blinks at screen-
Okay, you've just ruined Dr. Who for me forever. Not that this is a huge loss anyway, I've seen less than a dozen episodes of 9th-10th-11th put together, but still. Because what you came up with is so Sensible but so horrifying and yet oddly compassionate at the same time, and that's not supposed to be possible, and I will never look at any of the Doctor's Companions in the same way again.
| yellow 14 chapter 1 . 9/18/2011
How odd. Keep writing
| Tarkas1956 chapter 1 . 9/18/2011
Well, this certainly matches the Doctor-bashing themes that RTD and now Steven Moffat have pushed (and pushed, and pushed...) over the last few years, but I wouldn't call that a good thing. Nonetheless, it makes sense if you accept their twisted logic, and it's one of your stories, Adrian, so it's much more enjoyable to read than it was to watch that excrutiating episode last night (The God Complex), and considerably more subtle, too. Mind you, that's not hard.
| Mr. Thumbsup chapter 1 . 9/18/2011
Hmmm. Responsible? Maybe. Humane? Maybe not. You've created quite a humanities dilemma here. Well done, sir.
| KendrixTermina chapter 1 . 9/18/2011
Uh, this was creepy as hell...
| Guest chapter 1 . 9/18/2011
That is just great. Now I want to see what he would do if the clone had kids when he got back.
