| Genesis R chapter 1 . 4/9/2014
I don’t think I’ve ever read a fic so literary based. Seriously, Aeschylus, Cassandra, Scheherazade - my inner scholar is jumping for joy. Plus it’s an absolutely terrifically written story all around.
I especially like the imagery of the Doctor alone in the TARDIS, slowly dying, trying to find River again. Him dying alone, unable to tell anyone, is just heartbreaking. I like the line where he gives River the sonic and it’s like him giving away one of his limbs.
Of course this mostly ignores Eleven’s continuity (but what are timelines for if not messing up?), but really, I hardly noticed among the rollercoaster of emotions.
This is an amazing story. Great job!

I don't normally read 10/River, I prefer her with 11 and future doctors, but this was so good. I loved it and this was so lovely and sad and perfect, all at the same time. Seriously, how do you with words? Ugh teach me. So good.
