Nice! I love that Psyche Out eventually concluded he had to be a bit mad too to be there. :)
The division of the Pit into groups was very good. Especially liked the idea of the loners exchanging two thirds of a word over breakfast. Such chatty katties!

LMAO! My favorite passage is this one: "A visiting psychologist, ordered in by the Pentagon, had once tried to put Cover Girl on antidepressants. He'd claimed that her enthusiasm for tank-driving and her thrillseeking attitudes were clear signs of a self-destructive attitude. Granted, he'd also diagnosed Clutch with ADD and pronounced the ninjas kleptomaniac..."
This was terrific and, once again, I bow to your awesomeness.

Loved it! Poor Psyche-Out, but hey, he's got a position of a lifetime.
Also, I think you got Breaker and Mainframe mixed up.

I absolutely loved this, thank you for posting. It was great to have a Psyche Out perspective, his views of the others, and him trying to figure out what his place is among them. The Alice in Wonderland quote was a wonderful way to end it and tie it all together.
