This is a wonderful story story, and though it has been years since it last updated, I still hope to be able to read more some day. I hope you are doing well, wherever life has taken you.

This was a really nicely told and explored story. Hope you come back to it at some point. Really enjoyed the character interactions and discoveries therein.

ah a good old doG story

Not bad, not bad at all.
I like the Crambling Earth fight. Square rank mages are SUPPOSED to be insanely strong, otherwise it wouldn't be such a desired title.

I have a somewhat similar idea, in that Louise summons a statue. It's a different one, though.

You made some of the worst classic mistakes of crossover fighting scenes: powering up the canon bad guy/mook till he is stronger than the final foe, take away any attack power from your main character till the very last second and getting the good guys only react and never plan or even really attack. You wanted epic, but got braindead...

Damn shame this died. Was an excellent story.
