| ARL15 chapter 9 . 2/24
Great chapter! I liked the moment where Dick rolled his eyes and told Bruce he missed him. I like how Dick isn't afraid to show emotion and has always told Bruce how it is unlike the other bat boys. I really loved all the Dick/Bruce bonding that took place in this chapter!
| misere chapter 9 . 2/24
Very nice. I like that Bruce can't quite change his bad habits, but at the very least is somewhat open to work on them. Luckily he has Dick to call him out on it. Also, please get him an evil goatee! *laughs* It's a total clicheé, but it's sort of iconic.
Your writing is so precise and the plot is well thought out and coherent, I love that this comes together so wholesomely (is that a real word in english? I hope so.).
Also, it doesn't matter how long an update takes, if I liked the story and get an update notice, I'll get right back into it. ) Though I'd like to read more as soon as possible of course, but I'll take what I can get.
| RougePlume chapter 8 . 8/28/2013
I really like this. It's well written, the plot is coherent and the characters are *in* character.
And I love the way you show how unique and close their relationship is. It's all about details. :)
I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter!

What a touching side to Bruce.
| raina1 chapter 8 . 6/28/2013
Awesome work as usual. I'm happy you decided to continue this one. I'd almost forgotten about it! I have said this before and I will say it again, your work in this fandom is what makes reading fan fiction worth it, honestly there is nothing like your work in this fandom. Perhaps I am biased because I have a preference for stories that focus on batman and his relationships with his robins but it stands to reason this is just damn good writing. Thank you for the update. Looking forward to the rest of it.
| YumeKoe chapter 8 . 6/27/2013
Amazing chapter. I was looking forward to coming home and reading it all day at work. As bad as Bruce seems to think he is at being affectionate, I have to disagree. In your chapters, you can really see him slowly but surely grow into a father role.
In the Gotham Knights comic, Dick expressed that he felt Batman would never forgive him if he knew that Dick would never choose his parents if it meant giving up Bruce. I'm hoping a time will come when Bruce will finally accept his place as Dick's father that can't be replaced in his own right.

I'm so glad you updated! I really love your stories, especially Details. You capture Bruce and Dick so well as individuals, and then the relationship between them is so beautiful- both sweet and strong.
| ARL15 chapter 8 . 6/27/2013
Great chapter! I was excited to see that you updated! I really enjoyed how it was Bruce cheering Dick up instead of Dick cheering up Bruce. It was nice to see that Bruce has a soft/positive side too and that he is their for Dick, when Dick has his rare moments of being upset and negative! Bruce and Dick really do have a great way of balancing each other out. I can't wait to read more, please update soon.
| Black Friar chapter 8 . 6/27/2013
Well, that was a very enjoyable chapter to read. I enjoyed watching the softer side that Bruce showed Dick, although I found Bruce's ability to change and shave without his own knowledge whilst he was working on something else as disconcerting as he did. Here's hoping Dick's help will enable him to puzzle out the problem.
| YumeKoe chapter 5 . 6/27/2013
I was going to wait till the end of this story to review, but I felt like I needed to say something here. I adore your portrayal of Bruce Wayne. I wish I were as good with words as you are to express exactly why and give exact reasoning, but all I can say is that this is exactly how I imagine Bruce/Batman thinking in the comics. Well, as long as you don't ever read the Frank Miller version which I was not personally a fan of.
I love the relationship you have established between Bruce and Dick. Not quite father and son, but something close to it. A silent but powerful understanding that may never be understood by anyone else but them. They have their own way of communicating their importance to each other that doesn't need to be overtly physical or vocal to express.
I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of this, along with your take on his interaction with the other Robins.
| ARL15 chapter 7 . 3/14/2013
Great chapter! I was so glad to see you updated this story, this is definitely my favorite story out of all your stories. I do hope you plan on writing more chapters for "Details". I loved the interaction between Dick and Bruce in this chapter. I liked how Dick waited up for Bruce because he was worried about him. It brought a lighter side to Mr. dark and serious.
| Black Friar chapter 7 . 3/13/2013
I'm delighted to see an update from you. This is one of my favourites of your stories, plus, I love how you write Bruce and Dick's relationship, and Bruce's internal monologue. May I ask, what inspiration do you use when you write Bruce? Or do you find it quite easy to write him (as I see from your author notes that you seem to be a rather deep thinker)?
| Black Friar chapter 6 . 3/6/2013
Its interesting but I think of all your stories this is my favourite. It was the first of your stories that I read and I still come back to it frequently for a reread. There are layers to the relationship between Dick and Bruce that appear in every chapter, and I love how you manage to make their relationship real, touching and human but without being saccharine...which, much as I love the relationship between Dick and Bruce, is frankly not to my tastes. Purely because I don't believe Bruce is capable of being overly sentimental. I believe he can show emotion in extreme circumstances or under duress (as the wonderful hug he gave Dick after finding him trapped under the sicko), but for the most part, I feel he would behave and evaluate the situation and surroundings just as you make him do.
Judging by how you write, you have a rather interesting mind, don't you?
| MCWritesAStory chapter 6 . 9/21/2012
This was great, the details you wrote regarding the case and what was happening made it very fascinating. It almost felt like a reading detective novel. Which isn't too far off the mark, as Batman is a detective.
I also really enjoyed the bonding between Dick and Bruce. It's very heartening to see Bruce trying very hard, despite his emotional setbacks, to act accordingly when dealing with Dick.
I've read your notes on your profile, so I'm aware that you will stop writing on fan fiction soon once you finish with certain stories. I do understand your reasons, but I must admit I am saddened. For the short while that I have been reading your stories, I have fallen in love with your writing style and you have become one of my favorite fan fiction authors. Once you stop writing on FF, I will keep an eye out in case you decide to return in the future. Until then, I will follow your current stories until you finish them.
Thank you for a wonderful read!
