Awesome Danny fix. Scott Caan's could do this scene perfectly. He's excellent. I always want more Danny fics. Best character on the show.

I have no idea why I didn't review before, seeing as how this is one of my favorites, but this is really wonderful. I can totally picture this entire scene being played out. I felt so bad for Danny when he had to admit to Steve about the baby and Rachel. I love your H5-0 stories.

This was terrific. So full of the emotions and interactions we don't get to see on the show. Great job.

great short...i wish the show would do something similar to this, because they seem to be completely glossing over the pain danny must be in with this situation. and funny that you wrote this last year before the recent epi where rachel gives birth and the other father at the nursery window says the baby has danny's nose...hmmmm! maybe it really IS his kid! but anyway, i think they need to have an episode or even just a scene or 2 showing danny's pain over losing rachel and the promise of another child.

Poor Danny... my heart ached for him when he said about Racheal and the baby not being his on the season premier... and I think you captured very well the hell he is gonna go through... even if we don't see it on the tv screen.

I don't remember a hole in the wall in Danny's apartment... but then again, I don't remember ever seeing his apartment. Must have been one of the episodes I missed.

And while I have trouble believing Danny would ever get that physical, that out-of-control... you've made this believable.

And more than believable, compelling. Taut. And I can see Rachel as being evil enough to pull off her part of this story.

Now, I just have one favor to ask. Since we found out last night that Kono gets the boot and is going to trial... could you write an angsty fic like this for her?

Sorry I accidentally hit the "done" button before finishing my review! What I was saying is that I hope the writers on the show explore Danno's emotions even just a portionas deeply as you did. I sense that Danno is trying to hide some of the pain from Steve so that Steve won't feel guilty - he is the reason that Danno missed the flight to NJ after all!

Nicely done! You conveyed Danny's fury really effectively - the pent up control, then the sudden bursting of the dam of all that emotion. The dialogue rang wonderfully true too. I see more baby angst along the way.
