Yeah most people take what Hollywood says about seizures as gospel. Unfortunately, the real is much worse. Every muscle and joint locks, often making the body bow at extreme angles. Some believe the nonsense about preventing them from swallowing their own tongues. Not only is it medically impossible to do so, the jaw locks. They would have to break the person's jaw, thus causing severe injury, to get to the tongue. As someone who has epilepsy I can say that what you have to do is turn them on their side so they don't choke on vomit and put a pillow or cushion under their head. Beyond that, the seizure has to ride itself out. Physically holding them down will just cause severe injuries.

I reread this one and realized it was the story I'd been looking for that I couldn't remember the name of. I always thought Dumbledore's plan was stupid, and everyone I liked got the short end of the stick, I really enjoy how you ended the war and didn't lose a ton of main characters. SS and HG were believable and work well together. Keep up the good work!

After seeing this fic recommend more times than I can count I have decided to give it a go. I'm loving the story so faryour Severus is wonderfully in character. I especially love his casual "I may not like any of you" and how the other professors just ignore it because they are so used to his snarky ways!
