![]() ![]() ![]() A thing that came to mind again as the order was planning the final confrontation and that I've noticed for the last ten chapters or so is that the war has apparently turned very tame and benign for some reason. Order members walking the streets, going about their business, calmly taking their time to figure things out, the Dursleys apparently going to work and school unprotected without issue, no-one has gotten killed or abducted since the battle at Hogwarts. And that's after all the gore and torture and nastiness that was going on in the first half of the story. What happened? Have the Death Eaters suddenly converted to Buddhism and found their Zen? I am happy for our characters, but the complete lack of any sense of danger or even interest for what's going on in Wizarding Britain at large just seems strange... |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was a hilarious scene at the Order breakfast meeting! I love your sense of humor and I'm very happy to see Snape finally discovering his. Everyone needs a laugh in dire times, especially our favorite golden Trio turned Quartet |
![]() ![]() I re read this story after nearly 3 years and it has not lost any of its brilliance and intensity. So well written! |
![]() ![]() ![]() It really makes me laugh how you just matter of factly present all the Hallows here in one chapter, when in the original this takes them half a book to figure out. So refreshing when the characters are actually smart and resourceful, and nice little jibe too... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Time and again I am really touched and impressed by how you describe your characters inner struggles, their emotional state, their anxiety (especially Snape on that last one) sometimes it makes me wonder if you are just very empathic and a good writer, or it you actually speak from. experience... in some cases I hope not! in any case thanks for writing, this story really goes under my skin! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm really enjoying your story so far and love how you've portrayed Poppy and Severus's relationshipbut you need a trigger warning for suicide. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Took me three days but I finally finished this :) thanks for writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I reread this over the weekend and just had to reach out and say what enjoy it has been to experience. Whilr I love all of your stories, especially the longer form ones, this one has a special place with the beauty of the development of the relationship. Lovely job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Congratulations! I have being reading lots of fanfic lately to try to cope with huge anxiety attacks, stress, depression and other mental issues. I find this story fascinating and wonderfully written. The descriptions are not dull, the “nerdy” references are very funny, the plot is awesome and the characters are greatly pictured, not “flat” but rich in detail and background. I’ve also dealt with PTSD (an assault on my life very near life threatening), had to seek therapy and also treatment by MRD (something quite close to occlumancy/legillinancy), off course it’s something you never get rid off fully and I’m stuck with a side effect of hyper-vigilant state sometimes. I’m in love with your work, hope you may stay on it. Love, Maddie |
![]() ![]() ![]() I had been reading this story on and off for 6 years and *finally* sat down and read it all and finished it! This has been one of the best Snanger stories I've read and I love reading it over and over, even though I just now actually finished it lol but it's still a favorite. Thank you so much for this story, it's been incredible and I love it, I know I'll be rereading it once again soon! |
![]() ![]() ![]() A very nice story. I really appreciated how you took the time to let it all evolve naturally and realistically. Thank you for sharing. |
![]() ![]() Pretty disappointed that Severus just handled Lupin too nicely. After everything, Lupin is still a bastard and never acknowledge what he did wrong. He doesn't deserve Tonks. I wish he will get what he deserves |
![]() ![]() ![]() I must have read it over 10 times over the years. Still remains one of my favorites. |
![]() ![]() However it had started, by now it must have developed into obsession; she was beginning to think that it was probably almost all that kept Snape going. Please no |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don’t think I will ever tire of reading this, or PTL. I absolutely love your writing, your characterizations, the bits of humor and a perfect slow burn of love. I have reread this countless times, and I fall in love with it again every time. I hope you never stop writing, because you have an absolute gift, my friend. I love that Severus grows, and thaws, and heals, and that Hermione stays strong and confident. So many kudos. |
